Disney’s Blizzard Beach Remaining Closed Another Day Due to Cold Weather

Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park will stay closed for the third day in a row due to cold weather in Central Florida.

As previously reported, Blizzard Beach was closed on Monday, December 2, and remained closed through Tuesday, December 3. According to the Walt Disney World website, the water park will now stay closed through Wednesday, December 4. Park hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. are still listed for Thursday.

The Wednesday forecast according to Weather.com lists a high of 68°F and a low of 47°F. Thursday is predicted to be warmer with temperatures between 74° and 57°. However, Friday will see the temperature drop down below 70° again.

Water parks frequently close in the winter due to colder weather. Blizzard Beach already closed for three days last month. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is closed for the season.

Universal Volcano Bay will remain closed through Thursday, December 5.

  1. We hope they dont close but if they will still pull this it should be like school like add days later on and keep it open to make up for lost days just like schools make up snow or hurricane days.
