Full Guide to 2024 Disney Jollywood Nights at Walt Disney World

Disney Jollywood Nights is an after-hours, limited-capacity, separately ticketed holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It debuted in 2023 and returned for the 2024 season.

Disney Jollywood Nights is aimed at a more adult audience than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. It includes special entertainment, character meet and greets, food items, and drinks. The retro theming brings to life the glitz and glamor of an old Hollywood soiree.

Dates & Ticket Prices

Disney added more dates to Disney Jollywood Nights this year, for a total of 13 events. Ticket prices are the same for adults and children. As of December 6, here are the remaining dates and ticket prices:

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket for all event nights. Cast Members can also save on select nights.

The 5-hour event runs from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Ticketholders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 6 p.m.

Outfit Guidelines

Guests are encouraged to embrace the Hollywood vibes and dress up while still following Disney’s costume guidelines. They also recommend comfortable shoes for walking.

Before Disney’s Hollywood Studios officially closes to day guests, Disney Jollywood Night guests queue up to the right side of the park entrance, where Cast Members will scan their event tickets and give them wristbands. Once inside the park, event guests are sent down a bypass to the right of Hollywood Boulevard and end up on Sunset Boulevard near Tower of Terror.

If you are already inside the park at 6 p.m., you can check in for Disney Jollywood Nights and pick up your wristband at Muppet*Vision 3D, Stage 1 Company Store, or Star Wars Launch Bay.

Two wrists adorned with vibrant yellow Disney Jollywood Nights 2024 wristbands, alongside beaded and black bracelets, offering a sneak peek of the magic within.

Wristbands feature the event logo. Disney randomly rotates through different wristband colors. You must wear the wristband all night so Cast Members know you have paid for an event ticket.

Guests can also pick up a Disney Jollywood Nights map when they check in. The booklet includes lists of open attractions, entertainment times, character meet and greets, and more.

Decorations

The Chinese Theater is transformed thanks to themed Jollywood projections. Ollie, the event’s gingerbread mascot, appears throughout the projections.

You’ll sometimes see him popping out of a present on the facade’s central tower.

Ollie is also represented via a cardboard cutout in the grass near Hollywood Brown Derby.

The park’s regular Christmas decorations include a large Christmas tree in Echo Lake, Gertie’s Santa hat and ornament, tinsel stars down Sunset Boulevard, and more.

Discover an exclusive selection of treats: a holiday-themed chocolate dessert, a hot drink with whipped cream, mini burgers on a board, two martini glasses with decadent delights, and a cake adorned with chocolate decoration. Perfect for Disney Jollywood Nights festivities.

Event Merchandise

This year’s merchandise includes a Spirit Jersey, Lug bag, ornament, ear headband, and Annual Passholder t-shirt. The limited-release pin was sold out after a few events but may be restocked.

The merchandise is available at Stage 1 Company Store in Grand Avenue. There is a line to enter the store when it’s busy.

Disney PhotoPass Opportunities

In the heart of Jollywood, a group of people in festive attire gathers with a cartoon gingerbread playing saxophone. Two women exchange gifts near Muppet characters, creating perfect photo ops for capturing holiday joy.

There are several Magic Shots and other photo ops available during the event, including Ollie and Muppet Magic Shots. A special photo opportunity at Stage 1 puts guests into “The Muppet Christmas Carol” with a robotic arm video.

Character Meet and Greets

Various costumed characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald and Daisy Duck, Chip and Dale, Pluto, and others, pose at a themed holiday entertainment event with colorful backgrounds at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby

A lively restaurant scene unfolds with patrons dining eagerly under the festive glow of holiday garlands. A brown derby hangs jauntily near the bar, where portraits line the walls. Nearby, a musician captivates the crowd from a small stage.

Guests who dine at Hollywood Brown Derby during Disney Jollywood Nights will enjoy Jazzy Holidays featuring a pianist playing smooth holiday tunes. Watch our video from last year:

Twilight Soiree at the Tip-Top Club

A group of people dressed in vintage costumes perform on an outdoor stage enveloped in mist and plants. It's a twilight soiree, enchanting spectators who eagerly watch and snap photos to capture the magical evening.

During Disney Jollywood Nights, The Hollywood Tower Hotel courtyard transforms into the Tip Top Club with a bar and stage. A ghostly band performs holiday tunes throughout the night, this year with dancers. Sets begin at 7:30 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 8:50 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:10 p.m., and 11:50 p.m. Ghosts roam the courtyard between sets.

Holiday Fiesta en la Calle

This holiday street fair moved to the Animation Courtyard for the 2024 season. Live musicians play Latin holiday tunes throughout the night from 7:30 to 12:30. This is also where guests meet José and Panchito.

Pixar Disco

Guests can dance with various Pixar characters at the new Pixar Disco. This dance party in Pixar Plaza features a live DJ and appearances by Joy, Sadness, Frozone, Edna Mode, and Mike Wazowski. The plaza closes for a break from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Watch our Pixar Disco video below.

‘What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along’

A stage performance features a person in a skeleton costume reminiscent of Nightmare Before Christmas, standing in front of a colorful, abstract backdrop. Audience members are visible in the foreground, eagerly awaiting the sing-along moments to come alive.

“What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along” returns to the Hyperion Theater, home of “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.” The show features the giant life-like Jack Skellington puppet from “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” fireworks at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It follows two friends discovering the story of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” through on-stage props.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m., and 12:30 a.m. American Sign Language interpretation are on November 13 and December 11. Watch our video below.

‘Disney Holidays in Hollywood’

“Disney Holidays in Hollywood,” hosted by Miss Piggy and Kermit, is in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard. The classic holiday variety show features performances by the Muppet hosts, Princess Tiana, Princess Belle, Mickey, Minnie, and a live jazz band. This year, Disney added more time with Miss Piggy and Kermit, removing the show’s live broadcast staging.

The 30-minute show is at 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 11:15 p.m., and 12:15 a.m. American Sign Language performances will be available on November 13 and December 11. Watch our video of the show below.

‘Glisten!’

New this year is “Glisten!” The ice skating show is performed on the stage at the end of Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the Chinese Theater. The skaters sing live as they skate and the projections on the theater change to match each performance. They skate to a holiday soundtrack including original songs and Disney classics like “Be Our Guest” and “When You Wish Upon A Star.”

Performances are at 8:15 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 10:30 p.m., 11:15 p.m., and 12:15 a.m. Watch our video below.

Sunset Seasons Greetings

Holiday projections light up The Hollywood Tower Hotel intermittently throughout the night, with moments inspired by “Toy Story,” the Muppets, “Frozen,” and more. Watch our 2019 video of Sunset Seasons Greetings:

This projection show is also performed for day guests on non-event nights.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Fireworks Spectacular

At 10 p.m. each Disney Jollywood Nights, the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! fireworks take to the sky around the Chinese Theater. The show also includes projections and lasers. Based on Disney’s “Prep & Landing” animated short, the show also includes holiday and winter scenes from films like “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” Watch our video below.
