The new Haunted Mansion gift shop, Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond, is now open at Disneyland park.
New Haunted Mansion Gift Shop Opens
Guests enter the old carriage house that was once home to Madame Leota (and the carriage found in the queue). Now that she’s “somewhere beyond,” Leota agreed to lend her material possessions for use in the shop. Her collection of eclectic furniture houses merchandise.
Cast Members have new costumes custom for this shop, which include outfits in shades of purple along with shimmery cloaks.
The shop is full of candles, lanterns, and items that used to belong to Leota. The tops of the shelves are draped in fabric and stacked with various mystical items.
Madame Leota is said to visit from time to time from her crystal ball in the Mansion to this one in the shop.
The shop sells Haunted Mansion and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” merchandise.
Madame Leota’s old supplies are still here, from a Ouija board to tarot cards. Signs advertise palm readings and potions for sale.
A ghostly bride can be seen in a few photos and paintings in the shop. She distinctly does not resemble the current version of Constance Hatchaway.
There are several instruments throughout the shop, evocative of Leota’s séance scene on the ride.
Another bride painting can be seen above.
A 13-hour clock like the one in the Mansion can be spotted.
A rare glimpse of Madame Leota in her corruptible, mortal state is displayed. The portrait is made to resemble Imagineer Leota Toombs, who was the model for the original Madame Leota as well.
There are several crystal balls throughout the shop. This one is perched over snakes meant to look like the serpent door handles.

Madame Leota’s Somewhere Beyond is part of a larger project that expanded the Mansion grounds to accommodate an ADA accessible elevator exit. With the new outdoor queue, guests with mobility devices can now enter through the regular entrance and use the elevator exit at the end.
