Walt Disney World has a new Stanley-style tumbler inspired by Muppet*Vision 3D and Sam Eagle. We found the cup at Celebrity 5&10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where Muppet*Vision 3D is located.
Muppet*Vision 3D Sam Eagle Tumbler – $34.99
The dark blue cup features Sam Eagle, wearing a top hat and tie inspired by the American flag, within a golden circle. Below him is his famous quote from Muppet*Vision 3D: “A salute to all nations, but mostly America.” Most of the words are in red script but “America” is in large white letters.
The stainless steel cup is hand wash only and not microwave-safe.
Disney recently announced Muppet*Vision 3D would close to make way for a “Monsters, Inc.” land. Statements by Disney and The Jim Henson Company indicate they are planning to preserve the film, which was Jim Henson’s final project, in some way.
The Muppets will find a new home at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, however. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be reimagined to feature Electric Mayhem and other Muppets, replacing Aerosmith.
