Space Mountain Queue at Disneyland Gets New Themed Lampposts

The Disneyland Space Mountain queue has new themed lampposts along its second story.

Space Mountain Lampposts

A blue and silver lamp post stands on a blue platform near a building entrance. Two people walk nearby on a chain-lined path.

The poles are gray with a hexagonal pattern of cutouts in the center, revealing a dark blue color beneath. Large circular lights stick out of the top at an angle, shining down on the queue. The lampposts all still sit in construction boxes, indicating work isn’t yet complete. This one is in a short blue box.

The pattern appears to be that of glowing orbs that were on the third Space Mountain lift hill until the ride’s 2005 refurbishment.

Some of the lampposts sit in larger purple and blue construction boxes.

There are still full-size construction walls in the queue. More lampposts may be installed behind these walls.

Space Mountain remains open, with the queue navigating around construction.

A few months ago, the Space Mountain tunnel was finally repaired.
