Around the park during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, guests can find special Artful Photo Ops, allowing them to step into a painting and strike a pose. Some are classic works of art by famous artists and some are Disney-themed.

Artful Photo Ops

There are seven Artful Photo Ops this year. Disney PhotoPass photographers are located at each, but guests can use their personal devices to snap a photo as well. The locations are:

  • International Gateway – “Luncheon of the Boating Party” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir
  • The American Adventure – “Washington Crossing the Delaware” by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze
  • Between the Italy and Germany pavilions – “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci and “The Scream” by Edvard Munch
  • Bridge to World Showcase – Mary Poppins and Sleeping Beauty inspired scenes
  • Near Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana – Moana inspired scene

Take a look at each Artful Photo Op below.

“Luncheon of the Boating Party” by Pierre-Auguste Renoir

International Gateway

This Artful Photo Op is not yet available. The piece allows guests to step into the luncheon party. A faux table and some guests are part of the front façade, while the rest of the painting is the background.

“Washington Crossing the Delaware” by Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze

The American Adventure

A large framed painting adorns the brick building entrance, depicting a historical scene of a man in a boat. It's beautifully surrounded by potted plants and holiday decorations, setting the perfect stage for the Festival of the Arts.

Join George Washington on his journey across the Delaware by stepping into his boat. The soldiers originally in the art have been removed so guests can take their places.

“Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci and “The Scream” by Edvard Munch

Between the Italy and Germany pavilions

Two framed paintings adorn a patterned blue wall, surrounded by vibrant potted orange and yellow flowers on a paved area, capturing the essence of a festival of the arts.

This Artful Photo Op is a two-for-one with iconic scenes. On the left, strike the iconic pose from “The Scream.” On the right, fancy yourself as Mona Lisa.

Sleeping Beauty

Bridge between World Showcase and the Imagination! pavilion

An enchanting display of an animated character in a forest scene, surrounded by potted plants and lush greenery, makes for perfect photo ops at the EPCOT Festival of the Arts.

The Sleeping Beauty scene replicates the part in the animated film where Briar Rose is dancing in the wilderness with the animals. Her animal friends are dressed up like the prince, but the princess is absent so guests can take her place.

Mary Poppins

Bridge between World Showcase and the Imagination! pavilion

Outdoor decorative display at EPCOT's Festival of the Arts, featuring a painted backdrop of a tree and table. Four penguin cutouts invite fun photo ops, surrounded by potted plants that enhance the vivid seasonal charm.

Parade with the penguins in this Artful Photo Op inspired by Mary Poppins. A table is set for tea in the background.

*NEW* Moana

Near Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana

An artful photo op awaits with two large round cutouts for picture-taking, adorned with charming illustrations of a rooster and a pig, all gracefully surrounded by potted plants.

This is the only new Artful Photo Op this year, and the only one to be fully removed from World Showcase. The two Disney-themed ones above are on the walkway, but the Moana art is up in World Nature.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts runs from January 17 – February 24. For more festival details, check out this year’s event passport.
