A brand new Blizzard Beach 30th anniversary pin has arrived at Walt Disney World. We found this pin at Disney’s Pin Traders in Disney Springs.
Blizzard Beach 30th Anniversary Pin
This pin commemorates 30 years of Disney’s Blizzard Beach. The pin features Mickey wearing a winter scarf with yellow, green, and blue colors. Minnie is wearing festive swimwear with a snowflake pattern and holding a camera in her hand. A snowflake at the front has the text “30 years” while the background of the pin has the Blizzard Beach logo above Mickey and Minnie.
The bottom of the backing that the pin is attached to highlights the 25th anniversary of Disney pin trading.
Disney recently released a handful of other commemorative pins at Walt Disney World to celebrate 25 years of pin trading.
Blizzard Beach originally opened to guests in 1995. Themed as a failed attempt at a Florida ski resort when a “freak snowstorm” hit the area, the park is centered around Mount Gushmore, the mountain containing most of the park’s slides. The main attraction is Summit Plummet, a 120-foot tall free-fall slide that resembles a ski jump.
In 2025, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel will receive free admission to either Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park on their check-in day, depending on which park is open at the time.
