The My Disney Experience and the Disneyland apps now allow iPhone users to track their mobile orders from their home screen.
Mobile Order Updates
After making an order in either app, guests will now see the order on their homepage thanks to the Live Activities feature of iOS. Guests can tap “I’m Here, Prepare My Order” from the home screen without reopening the app. Tracking of the order will then show up.
A bar tracking the order also shows up at the top of the screen when the phone is unlocked.
The Live Activities space will show when your order is ready, the pickup location, and the order number.
If you have push notifications turned on, a regular notification saying your food is ready will also pop up on the home screen.
The update is rolling out today so may not be immediately available for all iOS users. If you don’t see the Live Activities feature, make sure your app and phone are up to date.
Mobile order is available at most quick-service eateries throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Navigate to mobile order in each app by either clicking on a specific restaurant in the app’s map or list and selecting “Begin Order,” or selecting “Order Food” under the plus sign menu or three-lined menu.
