Disney Pal-Palooza: Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World has begun at Tokyo Disneyland featuring the new “It’s a Sweetsful Time!” parade.
Disney Pal-Palooza ‘It’s a Sweetsful Time’ Vanellope Parade
This is the third Disney Pal-Palooza following Minnie’s Funderland and Donald’s Quacky Duck City. This time, Vanellope from the “Wreck-It Ralph” films has reimagined Tokyo Disneyland as a world of sweets. The seasonal event runs from January 15 through March 26, but the parade will end after March 16.
The parade features six floats. Vanellope is in the lead on a giant candy castle float.
She’s joined by dancers on the float and the ground. Their colorful outfits appear to be made of candy.
On the back of Vanellope’s float is a giant heart-shaped cookie, resembling the medal she gave Ralph in “Wreck-It-Ralph.” It reads “Sweets Paradise Resort!”
Princesses Belle, Rapunzel, and Cinderella are on the next float, which is adorned with colorful candy flowers.

Each platform has a different flower representing the corresponding princess. There are blue roses on purple vines around Cinderella. Yellow, orange, pink, and purple flowers are around Rapunzel. Belle is surrounded by traditional red roses on green vines.
The Mad Hatter drives a candy car with a giant unbirthday cake atop striped sticks. Smaller The wheels of the car are lollipops. The top of the car features decorations inspired by playing cards.
Alice and the Cheshire Cat are on a whimsical float with panels of pink and green licorice on the sides. A giant candy tree with cakes and macarons towers over them. Top hat-inspired confections are around them.
The dancers in this unit wear top hats and other Wonderland-inspired apparel.
Mickey and Minnie have new costumes, as do their friends. Mickey’s float has a larger-than-life churro covered in chocolate and strawberry icing arching over it. His platform resembles a fruit tart.
Mickey and Clarice sing into candy microphones.

Chip, Dale, Donald, and Goofy are also on this float, each wearing outfits inspired by a different fruit.
They’re followed by a Winnie the Pooh picnic float. The center features a red and white gingham pattern. Pooh is atop a hunny-covered platform and wears a chef hat. The railings are covered in bee and flower cookies.
Piglet and Tigger are on the back of the float, also wearing chef hats. Piglet carries a piping bag. Their hats are adorned with bees.
Minnie, Daisy, and Pluto are tour guides on a gallery float of candy-inspired artworks. The “Sweets Gallery” sign uses the same kind of lettering as the Disney Gallery logo.

Pluto wears a candy tag on his collar. Daisy and Minnie are in matching tour guide dresses and hats.
Minnie’s look is pink while Daisy’s is purple.
At the end of the parade is a basket of sweets featuring Sour Bill on a cookie.
