The Expression Section is a paint-by-numbers mural that guests can participate in for free during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. It’s located on the walkway between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion. Cast Members will hand out paint and sponge brushes to guests at a nearby booth, which now has a “Paint Distribution” sign.

A board next to the sign shows the four murals that guests will be painting during the festival. Guests who visit the park in the evenings will be able to see that day’s completed murals. Any guest who participates in the painting will get a bookmark of the mural they helped create.

Sign with information about EPCOT's festival murals, offering complimentary paint and brushes. The section operates daily from 11am to 5pm.

Each mural is inspired by EPCOT, featuring a different art style and iconography. The first looks more like classic concept art and features the Nova Corps spaceship from Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind flying across the park.

The second is a cubism-like style of Figment from Journey Into Imagination surrounded by dynamic shapes and colors. The third work depicts Spaceship Earth and the buildings of World Showcase in a minimalist style.

The last work is a vibrant piece featuring elements representing all of EPCOT’s festivals: a painting for the Festival of the Arts, topiaries and flowers for the Flower & Garden Festival, wine and spaghetti for the Food & Wine Festival, and candles and a gingerbread house for the Festival of the Holidays. Spaceship Earth and the Disney Skyliner are also pictured.

The Expression Section will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily (weather permitting) beginning on Friday, January 17. The festival runs through February 24.
