No trace has been left of the Haunted Mansion Holiday decor that adorned the Mansion through January 6, 2025. Haunted Mansion Holiday is inspired by “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” where Jack Skellington gives a frightful and festive makeover to the Mansion for the holiday season.

Previously, the mansion was decorated with pumpkins, wreaths, strands of garland, candles, and more. That has now been removed and the Mansion is back to its regular state.

When the ride reopens Saturday, it will include the reveal of a new Bride which was seemingly confirmed by the release of the Haunted Mansion Bride sipper yesterday. The regular version of the ride has not operated since August 2023 when it closed to change to the holiday version for that year.

According to sources, the updates to the Bride scene will include projections of a scene behind a window that was added.

Sources also indicate that the Hitchhiking Ghosts mirror effect at the end of the ride will be updated to feature projections instead of the Pepper’s Ghost effect that uses physical figures.

Since the attraction’s closure, there have also been rumors that the hanging corpse may be replaced by a projection on the tarp used for the Haunted Mansion Holiday.
