REVIEW: New UOAP Treats Arrive at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal Orlando Resort

Jamie Rowland

Two new Universal Orlando Annual Passholder (UOAP) treats – a Crème Brûlée French toast and Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion milkshake – are now available from Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk Orlando.

UOAP Exclusive Treats at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

Crème Brûlée – $14.95

Crème Brûlée on French toast with vanilla maple syrup and Grand Marnier macerated berries

Indulge in French toast dusted with powdered sugar, paired with mixed berries and a dollop of whipped cream. A chocolate-dipped strawberry crowns this delightful creation from Toothsome Chocolate Emporium—a must-try for UOAPs aficionados seeking a memorable escape.

The first item we tried is the “Crème Brûlée” French toast.

A piece of French toast dusted with powdered sugar rests on a textured plate, complemented by berries, whipped cream, and a chocolate garnish reminiscent of the delights from the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.

The “Crème Brûlée” glaze gives the toast a nice crunch while the rest is soft and served piping hot; however, we would still describe this as more French toast than Crème Brûlée.

Indulge in the ultimate Passholder Treat at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium: French toast adorned with powdered sugar, a chocolate-dipped strawberry, berry compote, and whipped cream elegantly plated for your enjoyment.

The macerated berries are warm and not overly sweet, but the French toast is sweet enough. The berries do not make the toast soggy due to the added crunch of the Crème Brûlée. The chocolate-covered strawberry is typical but a nice garnish for this treat.

French toast topped with powdered sugar, served with a side of mixed berries and whipped cream on a textured plate—a delightful Passholder Treat at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.

Overall, this is a very good dish. We recommend splitting this between two people, but one person could definitely enjoy this for themselves.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion – $18

Chocolate ice cream mixed with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, chocolate whipped cream, Reese’s Pieces, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and chocolate peanut butter pie

A towering milkshake from Toothsome Chocolate Emporium stands on a wooden table, adorned with whipped cream, candies, and a red-striped straw—a delightful passholder treat.

While the concept and presentation may have chocolate and peanut butter fans rejoicing, we find this milkshake to be a little disappointing.

At the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, indulge in a milkshake adorned with a chocolate cake slice, whipped cream, a peanut butter cup, and colorful candies. Served with a red and white straw, this delightful treat earns rave reviews as one of the ultimate Passholder Treats.

After deconstructing the desert, we tried the pie topper first. This chocolate peanut butter pie is more peanut butter than chocolate and it’s just standard. However, the Reese Cup is deliciously cold and crisp — not melted or stale as one might expect as a milkshake topper.

In the dimly lit ambiance of Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, indulge in a decadent milkshake topped with a slice of cake, a peanut butter cup, whipped cream, and colorful candy. A striped straw completes this Passholder Treats delight.

The description lists a chocolate whipped cream, but we were given a normal, non-flavored whip. We’re not sure if they were out or if this was a mistake. The Reeses Pieces are a fine addition as a topping.

The milkshake itself just tasted like chocolate at first, and we were a little disappointed. We did get a hint of peanut butter flavor after a few minutes of sipping, though.

Regardless, the flavors lacked balance throughout the entire dessert. It wasn’t bad, but we preferred the French toast out of the two.
