Alien Stitch and Other Experiments Set Loose for Rare Meet & Greet at Magic Kingdom

At a private event held for Club 33 members on Saturday, January 18, “Alien” Stitch and several other experiments were set loose in Walt Disney World’s Tomorrowland.

A group of people in colorful, animal-themed costumes, including green, yellow, blue, pink, orange, and red figures, standing outdoors.

The event was in honor of Space Mountain’s 50th Anniversary, and guests were able to meet and interact with Stitch dressed in his space suit worn at the beginning of “Lilo & Stitch,” along with the following experiments (from left to right): Reuben (Experiment 625), Felix (Experiment 010), Sparky (Experiment 221), Angel (624), Sample (Experiment 258), and Experiment 627.

Three people in colorful cartoon character costumes, including orange, pink, and yellow ones, stand together on a pathway with greenery and buildings reminiscent of a secretive Private Club 33 in the background.

Meeting Stitch in this outfit – or any of the other experiments – is very rare, but that is one of the perks to a Club 33 membership. They have been spotted in the past at runDisney and Disney Vacation Club events as well.

Club 33 is a legendary and exclusive club founded by Walt Disney with locations at Disney Parks around the world. Club members receive a variety of tailored experiences including events such as this.

Members were also invited to take a ride on Space Mountain with the lights on.

Space Mountain turned 50 on January 15, 2025. WDWNT celebrated the anniversary and 30 years of “New” Tomorrowland with our “Promising Tomorrows” event. Former Disney Imagineers, most of which worked on Space Mountain, attended and spoke at the event.
