Amid the ongoing wildfires in southern California, the Walt Disney Company has closed select offices.
CEO Bob Iger contacted employees on January 8 to advise that the offices in Los Angeles and Ventura counties are closed through January 10 to all non-essential employees. This includes company headquarters in Burbank, California.
The fire has spread over 3,000 acres, according to the New York Times. Some residents in the Los Angeles area have had to evacuate.
At this time, Disneyland Resort operations are normal, and Cast Members are reporting as usual in Anaheim.
