Two New Open Edition Figment Pins Representing Figures From Original Journey Into Imagination Now Available

Two new open edition Figment pins have arrived at Walt Disney World. Both depict Figment in different costumes that he wore in the original Journey Into Imagination attraction. We found them in Creations Shop at EPCOT.

Journey Into Imagination with Figment is the third iteration of the classic ride. It was preceeded by the infamous Journey Into YOUR Imagination and the original Journey Into Imagination. The original operated from 1983 – 1998.

During the ride, guests would follow Dreamfinder and Figment through the Dreamport. There were many Figment figures in various costumes, including the two featured on the new pins.

A close-up of a hand holding two vibrant Disney pins captures the essence of imagination, featuring Figment, the purple dragon, with a paintbrush and artist palette. These Figment pins are perfect for those cherishing the Original Journey into creativity and wonder.

Painter Figment appeared in The Arts scene, where the purple dragon donned a large purple bowtie and matching beret, as seen in the photograph below.

His outfit on the pin matches the one from the ride, except he’s traded his pot of paint for a palette.

Tuxedo Figment Pin – $12.99

Two Open Edition Disney pins featuring Figment, the purple dragon from Journey Into Imagination. One pin shows him in a tuxedo, and the other captures him as an artist donning a beret and paint palette.

This pin features a dapper Figment donning a tuxedo jacket with a top hat in hand. He wore this outfit on the attraction as well, in a later portion of The Arts sequence that showcased performing arts. As pictured below, he stood in a “dressing room,” preparing for his next performance.
