Universal Volcano Bay was previously closed on January 2, 3, and 4. Universal announced on X that the water park will now be closed on Tuesday, January 7, due to inclement weather. It will also be closed on Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 9, as previously scheduled.

Universal Volcano Bay frequently closes due to cold weather in the winter. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Orlando for Tuesday morning. According to Weather.com, Tuesday’s temperatures will be between only 40° and 56° F. Wednesday will be around 38-62° and Thursday will be 43-59°.

There is a chance of cloudy weather and some rain through the weekend. It’s possible Universal will keep Volcano Bay closed for additional days.
