Disney released a new aerial flyover video of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. The footage mostly features Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle, but also includes shots of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and TRON Lightcycle Run. There are some clips taken during the fireworks.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opened last summer, so this is likely Disney’s first aerial footage of the attraction. TRON Lightcycle Run opened in early 2023.

The footage only includes glimpses of the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island, which are set to be replaced by a “Cars” area. After some hiccups with their construction plans, Disney submitted updated documents regarding work on Rivers of America to the South Florida Water Management District in late December.

Disney has not announced a timeline for the permanent closure of Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat.

The “Cars” area will include two attractions. It will not be the full Radiator Springs land of Disney California Adventure but an expansion to Frontierland set in the American West outside the town.

In part due to the expected construction of the “Cars” expansion and new Disney Villains land, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closed for an extensive refurbishment. The Disney Villains land will also include two attractions, as well as shopping and dining.
