As the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival approaches, construction continues on Butterfly Landing and the playground area near the Imagination pavilion.

Butterfly Landing Construction

People walk along a paved area near a group of strollers parked by a modern building with triangular glass sections. There are trees and fenced-off areas in the background under a clear blue sky.

In our last update of the Butterfly Landing construction, tent poles were installed behind the green scrim along with hanging chains that are usually at the exit of the enclosure.

Since then, more construction work has been completed behind the scrim. Wooden fencing has been installed along the pathway that guests will walk on through the enclosure.

The area that usually serves as the entryway for Butterfly Landing is also lined with wooden fencing and metal chains have been set up on the path as well.

People walk along a pathway next to a fenced-off area under construction, surrounded by trees and greenery, on a clear day.

Display boxes have also been set up along the pathway. In previous years, these display boxes have housed caterpillars that are waiting to emerge from their chrysalises as butterflies.

Playground Construction

A crowd of people gathers along a pathway in a landscaped park with gardens and a pavilion, under a clear blue sky.

In our last update, we reported that the playground being constructed near the Imagination pavilion would have a theme inspired by Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. The playground will be called Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables.

More interactive elements have been installed on the playground structure closest to the green scrim. The picnic tables and pallets remain pushed to the side of the playground area.

Stay tuned for more construction updates on Butterfly Landing and Playalong Bay Play Garden as the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival approaches.
