Season of the Force 2025 at Disneyland Park

Season of the Force is an annual celebration of all things “Star Wars” in honor of May the 4th. This year’s event will include a new nighttime projection show in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a new character encounter in the land, plus new food and beverages, merchandise, and more.

New and Returning Offerings

A new nighttime projection show, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” will debut in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on March 28. The new show, performing nightly, will take guests “on a storytelling adventure across the galaxy.” Performances will continue once Season of the Force concludes.

Projection effects will transform the black spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falon, bringing to life some of the iconic moments from “Star Wars” alongside music comprised of familiar themes from throughout the Skywalker Saga.

The Season of the Force at Disneyland unveils a Star Wars-themed area, where a spaceship model stands proudly in the foreground as fireworks spectacularly illuminate the night sky above rocky formations.

“Fire of the Rising Moons,” the other nighttime offering in Galaxy’s Edge featuring the Disneyland Park fireworks display, will continue on select nights, separately from the new projection show.

The show celebrates the heroes of the galaxy as the skies above Batuu burst with pyrotechnics, all set to selections from composer John Williams’ “Star Wars” film scores.

As previously announced, Luke Skywalker will appear on Batuu for a limited time, joining other available character encounters. Specifics on where he can be spotted and when have yet to be released.

At Disneyland's Season of the Force, people on the ride experience a high-speed tunnel with blue lights, perfectly simulating travel through space.

For Season of the Force, Space Mountain will see the return of Hyperspace Mountain for a limited time, through May 11, 2025.
