In Disney’s Q1 FY25 Earnings Call, CFO Hugh Johnston discussed the results of the newly implemented Lightning Lane Premier Pass.

The product is a premium product that Disney is still learning how to use but that they feel great about.
Johnston stated, “It is a product that we are learning how to use, so we are marketing it very gently.” He also mentioned that “it’s very much in line with our expectations, but we are moving slowly with that product in order to make it a great experience, both for the purchasers of Lightning Lane and for the rest of our guests in the park.”

The Lightning Lane Premier Pass is available at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. It grants one-time access to every Lightning Lane attraction whenever you want so there’s no need to book a timeframe. The price ranges for the Premier Pass vary by date and theme park.
At Walt Disney World the Premier Pass is good for one park only, whereas at Disneyland the Premier Pass grants access to both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure so long as the theme park admission includes the Park Hopper benefit.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass also includes photo perks of digital downloads of select attraction photos in the park that are captured with Disney PhotoPass service.
