The Epic Universe map is now available to view in the Universal Orlando Resort app.
Epic Universe Map
Users can find Epic Universe under the “Map” tab. The app will automatically take users to the map of the rest of Universal Orlando Resort, but scrolling to the left reveals Epic Universe. Users can also select the menu at the bottom of the map and select “Universal Epic Universe” to be taken to the park.
In the top right corner, users can switch between Map and List view. The drop-down menu at the top of the page allows users to select differing offerings: Attractions, Entertainment, Dining, Shop, Guest amenities, or Hotel. Within each option, there are filters like Rollercoaster and Kid Friendly (for Attractions) or Casual Dining and Quick Service (for Dining), so you can further narrow down the type of experience you’re looking for.
Although Universal Helios Grand Hotel is pictured on the map, it does not come up when Hotel is selected. It’s also not searchable in the app. Neither are Universal Stella Nova or Terra Luna Resorts, despite Stella Nova opening in January.
Entertainment includes shows and meet and greets. There aren’t any surprises listed under Entertainment and Attractions, only offerings that were already announced. Guest amenities include restrooms, guest services locations, and service dog relief areas.
Zoom in and out of the map to get a closer look at different the park. Again, there are no real surprises. It mostly reflects the original Epic Universe concept art. Celestial Park is through the center, with the Stardust Racers roller coaster jutting out between How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.
In addition to symbols representing attractions, shows, and more, there are markers for the lands themselves over their entrance portals. The map also includes the new AQI feature in the upper left corner.
The map does reveal a few new things about Epic Universe. Stay tuned for more coverage.
