A new article by Entertainment Weekly reports Disney is still considering releasing a second season for the popular Marvel show “Hawkeye” on Disney+.
“Hawkeye” Season 2

Entertainment Weekly has released a new interview with Brad Winderbaum, the head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel Studios. Much of the article discusses the fate of “Agatha All Along,” which we previously reported is not likely to get a second season. However, when Winderbaum was asked if any of the current Marvel series would warrant a spin-off or second season, he pointed out “Hawkeye” as a contender.
Winderbaum explained that “Hawkeye” being set during Christmas naturally lends itself to multiple seasons, as characters Clint and Kate could easily reunite for another holiday offering, “You can kind of revisit it whenever, and we’re looking for opportunities to do that. But as we develop things for the future, I think they’re going to be designed to be multiple seasons, have more of a pattern, and be able to be released annually.”

“Hawkeye” is an original Disney+ series that ran for six episodes starting on November 24, 2021. The series had “Avengers” star Jeremy Renner return as Clint Barton a.k.a. the titular Hawkeye. The show also stars Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and Alaqua Cox as Echo.
Following the series’ release in 2021 and again in 2022, characters Clint and Kate starred in a special stunt show in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. The show had the two archers defending Avengers Headquarters from the tracksuit mafia and utilizing several nearby Christmas decorations as makeshift weapons. In November of 2023, an inflatable version of Lucky the Pizza Dog was added to the roof of Avengers Headquarters.
