Nearly every Magic Kingdom attraction is currently closed due to widespread power outages at the park.
Magic Kingdom Rides Down
According to My Disney Experience, the only Magic Kingdom attractions open at 7 p.m. are Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Haunted Mansion, the Mickey meet and greet, Princess Fairytale Hall meet and greets, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise, and TRON Lightcycle / Run.
Every other attraction is listed as “Temporarily Closed.” These include rides like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and shows like Country Bear Musical Jamboree. The power issues span the park, with the most attractions open in Tomorrowland. Every attraction in Frontierland is closed, as is every ride in Fantasyland.
Wait times are jumping for the open attractions. As of 7:12 p.m., TRON Lightcycle / Run has a 110 minute wait, Jungle Cruise has a 55 minute wait, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has a 50 minute wait. The shortest wait is 10 minutes for Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor.
Cast Members are reportedly not letting guests join the queues of closed attractions, but guests who were in line when the attraction shut down are allowed to stay until it reopens.
While the widespread issues began this evening, Liberty Square Riverboat was already unexpectedly closed. Astro Orbiter is closed for a scheduled refurbishment.
Magic Kingdom is open until 10 p.m. tonight. The “Happily Ever After” fireworks show is scheduled for 8 p.m.
