After several weeks of work, all of the carpets inside Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have now been replaced.
Carpet Work Complete

Starting in the beginning of February, Disney has been working on replacing all of the carpets throughout the main Walt Disney Presents building. While the floor in the theater area was replaced along with the seats in March of 2024, the carpet in the other areas of the building remained unchanged until recently.

The flooring replacement work started in sections, beginning with the rooms closest to the theater and moving down the halls.

A few days after spotting work taking place at the front of the building, all of the new carpet has finally been installed.

The new carpet is the exact same colors as the old carpet, with dark blue and maroon swirls overlaid with an abstract yellow pattern.

The image above shows the faded carpet on the left next to the replaced carpet on the right. The colors on the new carpet are much more prominent, and our reporter also noted that the new carpet is much softer to the touch.
Walt Disney Presents

Walt Disney Presents is a walkthrough gallery showcasing props and memorabilia telling the story of Walt Disney’s life. The walkthrough ends at a theater, which usually shows a 15-minute film titled “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream.”
However, the latter section of the experience is often used to showcase props and previews of upcoming Disney films. During these times, items from the showcased film are added to the display cases closest to the theater, and the “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream” movie is usually replaced with an exclusive clip or preview of the new film. Recently, we have seen displays in Walt Disney Presents for “Moana 2,” “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” and “Inside Out 2.”
