“Cinderella” is a Disney animated film that was released in 1950, based on the fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault. The film was directed by Wilfred Jackson, Hamilton Luske, and Clyde Geronimi, and features iconic, classic songs like “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” and “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.” Walt Disney referred to Cinderella’s ball gown transformation, which was animated by Marc Davis, as one of his favorite pieces of animation. Since then, the princess has become a staple at Disney Parks around the world, with Magic Kingdom in Florida and Tokyo Disneyland in Japan being home to Cinderella Castle.
