The newest piece of merchandise celebrating 75 years of Disney’s animated “Cinderella” is a Starbucks tumbler.
It’s now available at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
“Cinderella” 75th Anniversary Starbucks Tumbler – $49.99
The tumbler has a shiny, faceted, crystalline exterior. On one side is a silvery flat panel featuring Cinderella’s pumpkin coach with “75th.”
The “Cinderella” wordmark is in pink below the coach.
On the other side is a transparent circle featuring the debossed Starbucks logo.
The tumbler includes a twist-off lid, straw, and silicone straw topper. The straw topper is light blue with a semi-translucent “glass” slipper sitting on top.
The tumbler is hand wash only and not designed to hold hot beverages. For those unable to visit the parks to pick one up for yourself, it will be available online from the Disney Store starting this Friday, February 28.
Other new “Cinderella” merchandise includes a Harveys bag, Rebecca Hook jewelry, and platform Crocs.
“Cinderella” is a Disney animated film that was released in 1950, based on the fairy tale of the same name by Charles Perrault. The film was directed by Wilfred Jackson, Hamilton Luske, and Clyde Geronimi, and features iconic, classic songs like “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes” and “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.” Walt Disney referred to Cinderella’s ball gown transformation, which was animated by Marc Davis, as one of his favorite pieces of animation. Since then, the princess has become a staple at Disney Parks around the world, with Magic Kingdom in Florida and Tokyo Disneyland in Japan being home to Cinderella Castle.
