Animator Jason Peltz appeared at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts on Tuesday to sign his newly released Disney Artist Collection pins. These pins, celebrating 25 years of Disney Pin Trading, were exclusive to the pin kiosks near Creations Shop on Tuesday but remaining stock will be available property wide beginning on Wednesday.
The pins feature some of the characters Peltz worked on as a Disney animator. His credits include “Hercules,” “Mulan,” “The Emperor’s New Groove,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Brother Bear,” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” Peltz is now an associate product design manager on the Pin Trading Center of Excellence team.
Limited Edition Kuzco Pin – $24.99

These first four pins all depict a full-color character appearing to pop out of a sketch on an animator’s table. More sketches peek out of an open drawer on the front of the table. This pin features Kuzco from “The Emperor’s New Groove.”
Limited Edition Hercules Pin – $24.99

The next pin depicts Hercules coming to life. Each pin also has a small golden “25 Years” plaque in the lower left corner.
Limited Edition Mushu Pin – $24.99

Mushu is looking happy-go-lucky on this pin. They come on black backing cards featuring the Pin Trading 25th anniversary logo and wordmark, as well as “Disney Artist Collection” across the top.
Limited Edition Simba Pin – $24.99

The last of these pins depicts young Simba from “The Lion King.”
The above four pins all have a limited edition of 5,000.
Mickey Mouse Box Set – $69.99

This boxed set includes four pins. Each depicts a different iteration of Mickey — black and white from “Steamboat Willie,” band leader Mickey, Sorcerer Mickey, and Mickey in his classic yellow shoes and red shorts. The Mickeys are walking across a film strip.
The background of the box is red. The lid has a transparent window and a black border. It has a limited edition of 4,000.
A Stitch, Pleakley, and Jumba pin also designed by Peltz will be available exclusively from the Disney Store.
