Sources indicate that park operations will take over Epic Universe next week, a huge step in the park preparing to open.
Epic Universe Team Member Previews
According to sources, park operations aim to take over at Epic Universe ahead of first previews. The goal date for this transition is currently aimed to be Saturday, February 15. Universal has not announced when previews for the new park will begin.
The different lands of Epic Universe include Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
Recently, we’ve seen fine detail work on the Chronos, the large tower at the entrance to the park. Additional construction work we’ve reported on included new ticket scanners that were installed, new plants added, and detailed work being done to exterior ride queues.
Just a few days ago, the Starbucks located in Celestial Park opened for employees. Team Members can now stop by and enjoy a beverage in the theme park’s new hub. Universal also shared a look at new Attractions Operations Team Member costumes for How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk.
An Annual Passholder soft opening will eventually take place, as previously stated by Universal Orlando Resort. While no further details regarding those previews have been released at this time, they will likely take place in the weeks or months ahead, leading up to the park’s grand opening on May 22.
