Two of the new Country Bear Musical Jamboree voice actors visited Magic Kingdom recently and enjoyed the show for the first time together.
Country Bear Musical Jamboree Voice Actors Watch Show
Country Bear Musical Jamboree, a reimagined version of the Country Bear Jamboree featuring Disney songs, opened at Magic Kingdom last summer. The show is still hosted by brown bear Henry, who is sometimes accompanied by Sammy the Raccoon. The pair perform “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from “Toy Story” with Melvin, Max, and Buff.
AJ LoCascio, the new voice of Henry, and Isaac Robinson-Smith, the new voice of Sammy, coincidentally visited Walt Disney World at the same time recently. They were able to arrange a private viewing of Country Bear Musical Jamboree, which neither had seen in person yet.
LoCascio shared a video of the experience on Instagram, writing, “That magical moment when two friends & life-long Disney fans get to share hearing themselves in a Disney Attraction for the first time.”
LoCascio, who was wearing a Country Bears T-shirt, and Robinson-Smith took in the waiting area full of props. They posed for a picture with the portrait of Henry and Sammy before enjoying the show, when they took more photos with the characters.
LoCascio said in his Instagram caption, “This is the first time we had watched the show & it was extraordinarily special that we got to do it together. There may have been tears…” He thanked Jake Ellis, John Kazlauskas, and the rest of the Walt Disney Imagineering team for “bearin’ with us & bringing the bears back in a way that feels fresh & modern but retains all of the charm & joy of the original! You really really nailed it.”
“Saying this is a dream come true is the biggest understatement of all time!” he added. “My little Imagineering obsessed heart is full to bursting.”

He most recently voiced Figment for the Disney Speedstorm video game.
His first theme park voice role was mimicking Chris Pratt as Emmet Brickowski for Legoland’s The Lego Movie: 4D – A New Adventure. He’s also voiced Pratt’s Owen Grady for “Lego Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape,” Jurassic World Evolution, and Jurassic World Evolution 2. He’s known for voicing Marty McFly in Back to the Future: Blitz Through Time and Back to the Future: The Game.
Isaac Robinson-Smith is providing his voice to the upcoming “Eyes of Wakanda” Disney+ series. He voiced Lucas Bishop in “X-Men ’97,” alongside LoCascio as Gambit. Robinson-Smith also voiced various characters in Marvel’s “What If…?” and Disney Channel’s “Hamster & Gretel.” He brought Mushu to life in Disney Dreamlight Valley and provided additional voices to the Marvel’s Avengers video game. He’s also known for “Voltron: Legendary Defender,” Final Fantasy games, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” “Strange Planet,” Spider-Man 2 the video game, and “Despicable Me 4.”
