A crane is parked outside of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, possibly for an exterior refurbishment.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort Crane
Several months ago, there was a crane to the side of the building but this one is right in front of the main tower, visible when approaching from Magic Kingdom on the Walt Disney World Monorail.
The crane wasn’t in use when we passed by but it does indicate there is some kind of exterior construction work happening on or around the tower. We didn’t see any other signs of work on the building.
The crane is also visible from inside the resort.
The attached Bay Lake Tower is undergoing room refurbishments.
