A new Chocolate Frog tin, which comes with a collection of cards including a Newt Scamander collectible trading card, is now available ahead of the grand opening of Epic Universe.
Chocolate Frog Tin – $30.00

For now, the new Chocolate Frog tin is only available at Universal Stella Nova Resort (or Epic Universe if you are visiting during Team Member previews). Typically, Chocolate Frogs come in a paper box, but this new version is a metal tin that comes with five trading cards. While the design is similar to other iterations of Chocolate Frog boxes, the tin features the French word “Chocogrenouille” which translates to Chocolate Frog.
It’s in French because the majority of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe takes place in 1920s Wizarding Paris.

The blue and gold tin features intricate designs on the top and sides. The bottom of the tin is gold with “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” logo along with text describing the inclusion of a milk chocolate frog and five trading cards instead of the usual one.

The Newt Scamander card is the only new addition to this tin. The rest are part of the collectible trading cards previously available in individual Chocolate Frog boxes. He is featured inside gold framing similar to that on other collectible cards. Scamander is from the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” franchise, a spinoff from the main Harry Potter series.

The back of the Newt Scamander card reads “A notable Magizoologist and author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Recipient of the Order of Merlin, Second Class in recognition of his services to the study of magical beasts.”

Nicolas Flamel, Jocunda Sykes, Artemisia Lufkin, and Ignatia Wildsmith are among other witches and wizards featured in this set of cards.

The tin comes with a milk chocolate frog. White and Dark chocolate frogs are currently only available in the standard paper boxes.
