Fantastic Four Meet and Greet Coming to Disneyland

Four superheroes in blue and white suits stand on a platform in front of a large number 4 symbol, ready for an exciting meet and greet. It's a fantastic sight reminiscent of the iconic Fantastic Four, as if they've just stepped out of Disneyland's magical realm.

No specific dates for the meet and greet were announced, but guests will be able to meet Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johhny Storm, and Ben Grimm in Tomorrowland when “Fantastic Four: First Steps” opens in theaters this summer on July 25, 2025.

In addition to Marvel’s First Family, a H.E.R.B.I.E. robot is also in the works, though it is unclear if he will also meet this summer, or if the robot will make some other appearance. H.E.R.B.I.E. (Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics) is a robot companion to the Fantastic Four who also will appear in the new film.

The announcement was made during a Live-Stream SXSW Session hosted by Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro and Co-Chairman Alan Bergman.

“Fantastic Four: First Steps” was first previewed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which included a first look at the team’s costumes. Set in a 1960s retrofuture inspired by “the optimism” of the 1964 World’s Fair, the upcoming movie will introduce the Fantastic Four into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pedro Pascal stars as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, alongside Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

The film also stars Ralph Ineson as Galactus, a ravenous space god, and Julia Garner as his herald, Silver Surfer, as well as Paul Walter Hauser (“Cruella,” “I, Tonya”), John Malkovich (“Being John Malkovich,” “In the Line of Fire”), Natasha Lyonne (“Orange Is the New Black,” “Russian Doll”), and Sarah Niles (“I May Destroy You,” “Ted Lasso”).

The film is directed by Matt Shakman of “WandaVision,” produced by Feige, and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis. Michael Giacchino composes the film’s score.

Recently, leaked Marvel concept art for “Fantastic Four: First Steps” revealed a potential spoiler with an important character debut.
