The official Disneyland 70th anniversary theme song, “Celebrate Happy,” will be performed and recorded by The Jonas Brothers.
The announcement was made on Instagram with a video featuring the band.
Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary celebrations begin May 16, but the song will be available on streaming services starting May 13.
X user Scott Gustin posted a video promoting the announcement featuring the first clip of “Celebrate Happy” set to footage of a prior Jonas Brothers performance at Disneyland.
”Celebrate Happy” is the anniversary’s theme. A Celebrate Happy Cavalcade will perform daily, featuring Mickey & Friends plus Duffy and ShellieMae. The song will also be featured in the Tapestry of Happiness projection show on the “it’s a small world” facade.
The nighttime parade Paint the Night will return for the celebration, as well as the Wondrous Journeys spectacular.
There will be new version of Disney California Adventure’s nighttime show, called World of Color Happiness!, which will also feature a pre-show starring The Muppets. Also at DCA, the Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration parade will return.
