According to a new article released by Variety, the Marvel series “Daredevil: Born Again” has recorded the best streaming debut of any show on Disney+ since the beginning of 2025.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Streaming Debut

According to new numbers cited by Variety, Disney has officially announced that the Marvel series has gathered 7.5 million views in the first five days of its release. According to these numbers, “Daredevil: Born Again” has had the biggest streaming debut of any media released on Disney+ since the beginning of 2025.
While Disney does not always release the streaming numbers for all of the shows on Disney+, fellow Marvel show “Agatha All Along” drew 9.3 million views in its first week when it was released in September of 2024.

“Daredevil: Born Again” officially launched on Disney+ on March 4, 2025. The show is a sequel to the 2015 Netflix “Daredevil” series, with several of the original cast members reprising their roles. Charlie Cox returns as the titular Matt Murdock / Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio reprises his role as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin. The series had already filmed what was supposed to be 6 of a total 18 episodes in 2023, but the show received a creative overhaul including a new showrunner, resulting in several components to be re-filmed. The two previously-hired directors for the series were also released during the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, which caused a temporary suspension of filming. The series is now directed by Benson and Moorhead (“Moon Knight,” “Loki” season 2), Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, and David Boyd.
