After being missing for just over one month, the roof has been restored to Snow White’s wishing well in Disneyland Park with a fresh coat of paint.

Snow White’s Wishing Well Roof Restored

A decorative wishing well with a teal tiled roof, reminiscent of Snow White's enchanted world, is nestled in a stone structure. Set in a park-like area with trees and a fence, it feels as if it belongs in the dreamy landscapes of Disneyland Resort.

The roof of Snow White’s wishing well was removed from the well’s base last month on Valentine’s Day. Unfortunately, the lack of roof on the well somewhat ruined what is otherwise a romantic photo spot for guests visiting during the holiday. Now, just over one month since its removal, the roof of the wishing well has returned.

Visitors gather around a stone wishing well at the amusement park, with some holding phones and wearing themed accessories. It's reminiscent of the enchanted experience at Disneyland Resort, where stories like Snow White come to life.

The well, which is modeled after the wishing well seen in the original “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” is appropriately located in an area called Snow White Grotto. The round base of the well is made of pale stone with woodland animals carved on either side. As a quick reminder, the base of the well is not intended for guests to sit on the side.

The freshly-repainted roof of the pagoda-style building glistens with teal and ornate golden details against a clear blue sky, reminiscent of a fairytale scene near Snow White's Wishing Well, surrounded by verdant trees.

While the base of the well has remained unchanged, the recently re-installed roof has definitely received a fresh coat of paint. The shingles on the top of the roof are all a bright shade of blue, while the spires at the peak are a polished gold color.

A wooden beam in a castle setting, reminiscent of Snow White's Wishing Well at Disneyland Resort, displays the engraved message "Your wishes will help... children everywhere." Two people are visible below the beam, gazing up hopefully.

The interior of the roof has also been repainted. The brown wooden beams have been stained back to their original chocolate brown. Two of the beams on either side of the well also have gold letters saying, “Your wishes will help children everywhere.” The words are not new, but they are much brighter after being slightly faded from the sunlight a few months ago. They refer to how Disney donates the money tossed into the fountain to children’s’ charities.

A stone waterfall feature with various statues of animals and figures is behind an ornate fence in a wooded garden setting, reminiscent of Snow White's Wishing Well at Disneyland Resort.

The well is located to the east of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Other features of Snow White Grotto include a waterfall with statues of the seven dwarfs and some woodland creatures.
