Surfs up! A new collection of “Fun in the Sun” items are now available at Walt Disney World. We found most of the new items at the BouTiki shop in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Mickey Bottle Stopper – $19.99
The first item in the new collection is a Mickey Mouse beach ball bottle stopper (say that five times fast). The top of the stopper is made up of three beach balls in a Mickey head shape. The beach balls are made up of shades of blue, white, and yellow. The plastic cork portion is teal while the rest of the stopper is made of metal.
Fun in the Sun Magnet – $14.99
The “Fun in the Sun” magnet features the phrase along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto. All of the beloved characters are relaxing on pool floats while enjoying summertime treats. The magnet is made of several layers of wood as seen in the side profile above.
Picnic Blanket – $44.99
A 66 inch x 66 inch picnic blanket is also part of the collection. As shown, it has plastic buckles that will allow users to roll up the blanket for easy storage and use. The print is an all-over Hawaiian style with flowers and palm trees. Mickey and the gang are pictured relaxing in the sun among the flowers.
Mickey Tumbler – $27.99
Mickey Mouse is catching some waves on this new, aqua tumbler. The phrase “Sun, Surf, Repeat” is written in bold text as the sun shines down upon Mickey atop his surfboard.
The other side of the tumbler is blank. However, it does come with a lid and striped straw.
Mickey Shaped Plates – $39.99
The set of four Mickey Mouse melamine plates comes with a variety of colors to match the rest of the collection. A yellowish-gold, white, aqua, and blue plate all come in the set. The plates are stackable for easy storage and have a raised lid to help keep your food secured on the plate.
Glass Tumbler Set – $34.99
Adding to the housewares available in the collection is a set of four glass tumblers. Each tumbler features a character. Mickey Mouse is relaxing on his watermelon pool float checking out the views from behind his sunglasses. Donald Duck is sipping on a drink and waving as he floats around. Goofy seems to be the only friend who is not a strong swimmer as he is wearing pool floaties on each arm. Minnie Mouse looks relaxed as she enjoys an ice cream bar snack.
Mickey Beach Ball Pillow – $39.99
Lastly, there’s a Mickey shaped beach ball pillow. This plush pillow resembles the topper of the bottle stopper above. The same pattern of yellow, white, blue, and aqua continues on the body as well as the ears of the pillow.
The pattern allows for a different look on each side of the pillow.
Several of these summer items were previously released online in the Vacation Shop section of Disneystore.com. Matching swimwear and other apparel are also available online.
