Emporium Refurbishment Continues

People stand near merchandise displays in a store with hats and souvenirs. A sign above a door reads "Cast Member Access," hinting at hidden paths like the Adventureland Shortcut that staff meticulously maintain.

We have been following the refurbishment since it began in January, and the construction has since progressed forward from the back entrance to the Emporium inside Casey’s Corner, one room at a time, revealing updated flooring, raised ceilings, and new placement of merchandise displays.

Our last update saw walls constructed in the section of the store directly inside the Disney Clothiers facade, where we previously reported that those facade doors were closed and locked. Some of the construction walls that appeared earlier this month have now been removed, revealing brand new flooring.

A decorative tile pattern with floral motifs separates sections of wood-look floor tiles, reminiscent of the artisan craftsmanship found in the Main Street Emporium.

The carpets have been eliminated and replaced with new wood flooring in a chevron pattern, accented by tiles featuring a patterned motif of a light gray clover centered in the middle of the tile with darker gray leaves extending to each corner of the square.

A wooden floor showcases two patterned tile inlays: one with green and cream diamonds, the other with intricate floral designs. In the background, a carpet and clothing on a mannequin hint at the charm of Main Street Emporium.

The existing tiles also remain in some areas, a pattern of green square tiles arranged in a diamond shape enclosed by white triangles to form a larger square and surrounded by a border of camel-colored tiles.

Open double doors lead from an interior space with patterned wallpaper to an outdoor area, where glimpses of people and structures suggest the lively charm of Main Street Emporium.

Wallpaper in a gray and white mandala motif has also been applied to some of the walls in the space.

Now, construction walls have moved forward to seal off the entrance to the Youth and Plush section, an area typically housing clothes and accessories for kids and babies.

Guests are not currently able to walk the length of the Emporium from the Main Street, U.S.A. Train Station to the back entrance of Casey’s Corner, conveniently located near Adventureland and Frontierland.

A store interior designed like a chic emporium, featuring decorative tiles, racks of clothing, and a display labeled "Seasonal." Two people are near a cart with items, highlighting its seamless blend of style and function.

Guests can still access the open sections of the connected shops, but are only able to access the newly unveiled Disney Clothiers by exiting through the doors in the Seasonal section and following the roped-off pathway leading through the now-open shop facade doors.
