The new stein is made of metal and colored gold on all sides. A “Butterbeer” wordmark is made of embossed metal in the center of the stein. Below the wordmark, three stripes run horizontally around the middle.

A person holds a brass cup with an ornate design, reminiscent of a butterbeer stein. The background showcases a wooden table and part of a roller coaster track, evoking the thrill and enchantment found at Universal Orlando Resort.

The stein has a slightly larger base and rim than the main body of the mug. Since the stein is somewhat heavy, these keep it from tipping over. The curved handle on the left side of the stein is also gold.

While the stein is being sold as a souvenir for guests to take home, it still comes full of Butterbeer when purchased at either of the restaurant locations. If you want to store it in a bag or carry it through the park, we recommend finishing the drink and rinsing it out first.

The golden stein has been released as part of the Butterbeer Season celebrations starting on March 1 at Universal Orlando Resort. Additional items released for Butterbeer season include a new merchandise collection and special Butterbeer-flavored food items.
