PHOTO REPORT: EPCOT 3/25/2025 (Pin Tuesday, Thumper Popcorn Bucket, Lug Bottle Bags)

Howdy! Today was a beautiful day in EPCOT. It was honestly one of the best days I’ve had in EPCOT. I found new pins, the new Thumper popcorn bucket, new Lug bottle bags, and so much more.

Monorail Mayhem

Collage of four images: EPCOT entrance sign, construction site with scaffolding, a blue monorail, and workers in a construction area with equipment and trees. It's the perfect backdrop for the highly anticipated Thumper Popcorn Bucket release on Pin Tuesday.

Good morning! There is no better way to start the day than on the EPCOT monorail, well most days. Today, was a rough one. I was one of the unlucky guests caught in a maintenance callback of monorail teal. Luckily when we got to the TTC the Cast was able to quickly resolve the issue and monorail black got us quickly back to EPCOT before opening at 9 a.m.

Test Track is trucking along with construction. Be sure to stay tuned to our website for the most up-to-date information. I noticed that there is some new dirt at the front of the attraction as well as some wooden structures in the circular spot at the front where the Test Track sign used to be.

Work on the awning also continues with construction workers sanding the white facade.

Eggstravaganza Begins!

Collage of Disney merchandise: Mickey Mouse pin for Pin Tuesday, EPCOT egg-stravaganza scavenger hunt board, and packs of playful wooden character pins with colored beads.

Every year EPCOT has an Eggstravaganza and 2025 is no different. For $10.00 you get this scavenger hunt with stickers of the hidden eggs around EPCOT. There are a ton of prizes that you can choose from and a pin you can purchase separately.

Thumper Spring Bucket – $24

A delightful collection of photos showcases Thumper Popcorn Buckets at a park stand. Each bucket features a cheerful seated Thumper on a vibrant base, echoing the whimsy often found at EPCOT. Eager guests line up for these unique refreshments, adding to the lively atmosphere.

The lines for pins were crazy this morning, but get this, the line for the Thumper Spring Bucket was way more consistent and longer than the pin line. This morning two pins were released the Easter pin featuring Mickey and Pluto and the Round-Up BBQ pin. Both are now sold out.

The Thumper spring popcorn bucket was sold out of the Creations kiosk location around noon but was still available near Image Works and Mission Space kiosks.

Figment Lug Bottle Bag – $50

Displayed in a store, this purple backpack and belt feature striking dragon designs. Shelves filled with merchandise set the backdrop, showcasing the magic of EPCOT's charm.

In ImageWorks there is a new Figment lug bag that can hold your bottle, which is perfect for an EPCOT walk. The strap features the purple dragon’s colors in a striped pattern. There are three storage spots, and it can be worn over the shoulder or on a belt.

Manatee Moment

Three images capture manatees at EPCOT in an aquarium tank with lettuce adrift. Two feature pairs of these gentle giants, while one highlights a lone manatee from the side.

In The Seas I took a moment to check on the newest addition to our home, Mermaid. Mermaid joins Cider and Mino in the manatee exhibit. Mermaid is the smallest of the three and weighs less than 400 pounds. You can spot her by her mermaid-like tale. If you still are not sure who’s who shes the one on the right sitting next to Cider having breakfast.

Mexico Concrete Work

Visitors bustle near a canteen entrance in the lively theme park. A man pushes a stroller, navigating through the crowd, which feels reminiscent of EPCOT's vibrant atmosphere. Trees provide a serene backdrop to this lively scene.

In front of the Cantina in the Mexico pavilion, there was a good portion of the walkway blocked with stanchions. It appears that the concrete pathway has been removed, and there are even some cuts remaining that extend past the stanchions. This leads me to believe there is going to be even more concrete work in the future. Likely Disney will tackle this project one section at a time to keep the path open.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe Troll Horn Returns

Sign for Troll Horn, a chocolate cream-filled pastry shell with coffee crunch, priced at $4.79, is situated next to a rustic wooden wall in EPCOT.

In the Norway pavilion in Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, the bakery shop, the Troll Horn has returned after being gone for years. I was hoping we needed a review on this delicious morsel, but alas.

Let me know in the comments below if you have ever had the Troll Horn. Did you like it?

Tiny Village Updates

A charming collage of miniature scenes: houses, detailed figurines, a red train on a bridge, and an EPCOT-style town setting bustling with people and buildings.

Oi, Viewer Discretion Avised. Let’s just get it out of the way, shall we? I have been tracking our tiny friend in the tower waving her white handkerchief and holding her teddy bear for MONTHS going on a YEAR. She still hangs in the balance with no railing to protect her and no light above her for the night, but now she has new visitors. There are two unclothed minuscule women on either side of her posing and facing toward the tower.

The two women figures are not the same size as our typical villager so it’s safe to assume that Disney did not intend for them to be there. Whether or not this is a prank by a fun guest or a Cast Member, either way, it made my day. I found it to be hilarious and completely unexpected.

The rest of the village remains mostly unchanged. There was a strange box above the train in the back but otherwise status quo.

Doggy Potty Spot in Italy

Potted plants and shrubs are artfully arranged along a wooden structure beside the walkway, creating a lush backdrop reminiscent of EPCOT's verdant landscapes.

Right after you pass the tiny German village and before you really get in the Italy pavilion there is a new potty spot for the service animals being built. It looks just about completed too. I think that we should have as many as needed and then maybe a few extra for our hard-working fluffy friends. Ever other country it seems will have a spot.

Italy Pavilion

Three photos capture an Italian-inspired setting at EPCOT with topiary sculptures, a tall tower resembling a famous Italian landmark, and architectural details like a lion sculpture on a red wall.

The Italy pavilion is under a lot of refurbishment. The tower is completely covered in scrim, but now three sides at least have a picture of what is covered. I think this is a nice gesture as silly as it may seem.

I noticed we are now missing something that was hanging at the back of the shop. And worst of all it’s still too early in Flower and Garden Festival for Lady’s ears to be fluffy. We need rain…

Pooh and Tigger Lug Bottle Bags – $50 each

Four images showcase reusable shopping bags featuring delightful Winnie the Pooh and Tigger designs. Each bag, with its vibrant yellow and orange character-themed prints, is neatly displayed in an EPCOT store setting, capturing the magic of a perfect Pin Tuesday souvenir.

In the United Kingdom pavilion in the Toy Soldier shop I found two more new Lug bottle bags featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and Tigger. I love that the Lug company is responding well to their customers, the guests of Walt Disney World. I think a lot of people were disappointed that there wasn’t an in-between option between the backpack and the small bags.

United Kingdom Pavilion New Bar Kiosk

Outdoor food stall on a paved area with green umbrellas and trees around. People are lining up and browsing the menu near a railing, much like a busy day at EPCOT. A body of water shimmers in the background, adding to the lively atmosphere.

A new Rose and Crown pop-up kiosk is serving a limited menu of beverages. When I spoke with the Cast Members they weren’t sure if this would be temporary for the spring break season or if it was in preparation for a refurbishment of the bar. As always, stay tuned to our website for more information.

Doggy Potty Spot in the United Kingdom Pavilion

Planters on wheels and green hedges in various settings, with a red-brick building and wooden gate visible in the background, bring the charm of EPCOT to life. The lush greenery surrounds a small artificial grass patch, creating a serene escape.

After checking out the new bar kiosk and being tempted with a good time I spotted the rolling planters of refurbishment. These rolling planters have become a staple to the Disney pixie dusting of the parks. This time they are hiding in the service animal relief area. I like that Disney keeps up with these. Our furry friends are important.

EPCOT Details

At the ticket counter, screens display vibrant options against a backdrop of EPCOT-inspired circular geometric patterns. Nearby, Thumper Popcorn Buckets add a whimsical touch, enticing visitors as they consider their next adventure.

These aren’t new, but they are fun. I love that the ticket booths in EPCOT when not in use have a small Spaceship Earth covering the hole. These are the kind of details I love to see at Walt Disney World.

I hope you enjoyed our adventure around EPCOT today. My favorite find was obviously the miniature unclothed women. What a wild thing to see in the tiny village and the Disney Parks in general. It’s just funny. Let me know your favorite find in the comments below.
