The 2025 Easter season began at Walt Disney World on Tuesday, March 18. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, guests can peruse several chocolate egg showpieces crafted by culinary Cast Members.

Grand Floridian Easter Eggs

These Easter eggs are in the resort’s lobby around The Grand Cottage, a kiosk selling Easter treats. Most of the eggs have a card indicating the creator and inspiration, but some were missing cards at opening.

A sign displaying "The Grand Cottage" Easter egg ingredient list stands inside a beautifully decorated venue, showcasing quantities of chocolate, fondant, and cocoa butter. In the background, staff and festive decorations enhance the charm of these Chocolate Easter Eggs.

There are 19 chocolate egg showpieces in the display, made of a total of 340 pounds of chocolate, 22 pounds of fondant, and 15 colors of cocoa butter. Each “egg” has a hidden Mickey.

Anxiety – “Inside Out 2”

A detailed miniature scene with a small figure sitting by a window, next to a violin and sheet music, inside a building with a tiled roof and flower accents. Hidden among the decor are delicate Easter eggs, adding an unexpected touch of festivity to the charming setting.

Inside one window, Roger is playing his piano, surrounded by other musical instruments.

“Beauty and the Beast”

This egg spins, showing images of Belle and The Beast. A hollow of the egg holds the Enchanted Rose in the West Wing.

Madame Leota – The Haunted Mansion

In an ornate room, a striking, egg-shaped sculpture echoes the allure of 2025 Chocolate Easter Eggs. Its glowing blue face illuminates the pink base. Surrounded by black candles with orange flames and framed by red ropes, it's a scene worthy of an Easter photo op.

This simple egg is all-white and sits on a silver base. Inside is a molded sculpture of Madame Leota, cast in blue light. Black candles sit on the ground in front of and behind the egg.

Expedition Everest

Created by Mary Rose

This egg design pays homage to the iconic Disney’s Animal Kingdom attraction, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. The egg depicts the immediately recognizable lift hill and drop outside the mountain.

Inside the egg is a silhouette of the yeti illuminated by a flashing light. Around the base is a sculpted version of the attraction’s sign, various flyers and art, and rows of decorative flags.

Walt Disney Animation Studios Characters

This egg is covered in tightly-packed images of various animated Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Hercules, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Alice, Tiana, Captain Hook, Elsa, and more.

The Snow White sketches include takes on a turtle, Dopey, Snow White’s clogs, and her face and collar.

Al’s Toy Barn – “Toy Story 2”

Created by Justine

In a charming public exhibit, a miniature toy barn scene showcases a chicken sculpture alongside a small barn labeled "Al's Toy Barn." Amidst this playful setting is a red-bordered plaque on grass, whimsically hinting at chocolate Easter eggs hidden for 2025.

There are two pieces in this display, one representing Al’s Toy Barn, including a Pizza Planet truck outside.

A sculpture of a white chicken with a red comb stands on a red frame, reminiscent of an Easter egg display. Inside the frame, there's a drawing of a person and "A, B, P." The piece by artist Justine is labeled with care.

The other is inspired by the Etch A Sketch with Al drawn on it. An egg resembling Al’s chicken costume sits on the toy.

“Tarzan”

Created by Victoria

This egg is inspired by Tarzan’s parents’ treehouse as seen in the beginning of the animated film, where the titular character is found as an infant by Kala.

A detailed sculpture depicting a bear holding a small child on a tree-like structure with a rope bridge, platforms, and miniature treehouses, all set against a decorative background reminiscent of whimsical illustrations found in old PHOTOS.

There is also a sculpted figure of Kala carrying a baby Tarzan across a bridge.

The famous Maleficent dragon float from the Festival of Fantasy Parade of Magic Kingdom is depicted with metallic detailing and a burst of smoke coming out of her mouth. The egg’s base resembles a Magic Kingdom street with brick curbs.

The spinning wheel from “Sleeping Beauty” is inside the dragon.

“Steamboat Willie”

Created by Kate

A small model of a steamboat, with a classic cartoon character at the helm, is displayed on a green grass-like surface, reminiscent of an Easter egg hunt scene. A red rope barrier adds charm to this playful setup.

Mickey is depicted driving Steamboat Willie with black detail work making the piece look more like an animated cartoon.

Zootopia

On the front of this egg is the famous Zootopia skyline. A sculpted Judy Hopps figure stands on the faux stone base with a Zootopia sign. The back looks like a stage with Zootopia residents watching Gazelle perform.

A decorative display featuring a "Zootopia" themed globe with a sign reading "Where anyone can be anything," surrounded by green foliage, chocolate Easter eggs, and a white picket fence. Capture unforgettable photos of this whimsical scene to cherish in 2025.

There’s even a “Pawpsicle” sitting next to the egg.

“Cinderella” 75th Anniversary

Created by Meg

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the animated “Cinderella,” this egg depicts the scene when Cinderella sings with bubbles. There are 3D “bubbles” attached to the egg, which sits on a bucket-inspired base. The original “Cinderella” poster is painted on the back.

A blue-themed cake adorned with "75" and delicate butterflies perched on 2025 chocolate Easter eggs at its base, resting gracefully on a silver and grassy platform.
