The 2025 Easter season began at Walt Disney World on Tuesday, March 18. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, guests can peruse several chocolate egg showpieces crafted by culinary Cast Members.
Grand Floridian Easter Eggs



These Easter eggs are in the resort’s lobby around The Grand Cottage, a kiosk selling Easter treats. Most of the eggs have a card indicating the creator and inspiration, but some were missing cards at opening.
There are 19 chocolate egg showpieces in the display, made of a total of 340 pounds of chocolate, 22 pounds of fondant, and 15 colors of cocoa butter. Each “egg” has a hidden Mickey.
Anxiety – “Inside Out 2”

The largest display is inspired by Anxiety and Riley’s Sense of Self, as seen in “Inside Out 2.” Anxiety stands nervously in front of a sea of small eggs representing Riley’s memories.
“One Hundred and One Dalmatians”

This egg features Cruella de Vil’s enraged face at the very top, with the streets of London below. Various dalmatian puppies are positioned on the egg.
Inside one window, Roger is playing his piano, surrounded by other musical instruments.
“Beauty and the Beast”




This egg spins, showing images of Belle and The Beast. A hollow of the egg holds the Enchanted Rose in the West Wing.
Madame Leota – The Haunted Mansion

This simple egg is all-white and sits on a silver base. Inside is a molded sculpture of Madame Leota, cast in blue light. Black candles sit on the ground in front of and behind the egg.
Expedition Everest

This egg design pays homage to the iconic Disney’s Animal Kingdom attraction, Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. The egg depicts the immediately recognizable lift hill and drop outside the mountain.



Inside the egg is a silhouette of the yeti illuminated by a flashing light. Around the base is a sculpted version of the attraction’s sign, various flyers and art, and rows of decorative flags.
Walt Disney Animation Studios Characters


This egg is covered in tightly-packed images of various animated Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Hercules, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Alice, Tiana, Captain Hook, Elsa, and more.
Princess Sketches


On this egg are sketches and fully colored pictures of Snow White, Aurora, and Cinderella.
The Snow White sketches include takes on a turtle, Dopey, Snow White’s clogs, and her face and collar.
Al’s Toy Barn – “Toy Story 2”

There are two pieces in this display, one representing Al’s Toy Barn, including a Pizza Planet truck outside.
The other is inspired by the Etch A Sketch with Al drawn on it. An egg resembling Al’s chicken costume sits on the toy.
“Tarzan”

This egg is inspired by Tarzan’s parents’ treehouse as seen in the beginning of the animated film, where the titular character is found as an infant by Kala.
There is also a sculpted figure of Kala carrying a baby Tarzan across a bridge.
Orange Bird

Orange Bird is depicted sitting on a planter pot, with gardening supplies and oranges around him. The character is currently featured at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Maleficent Dragon Float – Festival of Fantasy Parade

The famous Maleficent dragon float from the Festival of Fantasy Parade of Magic Kingdom is depicted with metallic detailing and a burst of smoke coming out of her mouth. The egg’s base resembles a Magic Kingdom street with brick curbs.


The spinning wheel from “Sleeping Beauty” is inside the dragon.
“Steamboat Willie”

Mickey is depicted driving Steamboat Willie with black detail work making the piece look more like an animated cartoon.
Zootopia

On the front of this egg is the famous Zootopia skyline. A sculpted Judy Hopps figure stands on the faux stone base with a Zootopia sign. The back looks like a stage with Zootopia residents watching Gazelle perform.
There’s even a “Pawpsicle” sitting next to the egg.
“Cinderella” 75th Anniversary

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the animated “Cinderella,” this egg depicts the scene when Cinderella sings with bubbles. There are 3D “bubbles” attached to the egg, which sits on a bucket-inspired base. The original “Cinderella” poster is painted on the back.
Bubbles at the bottom feature “75th” text and a blue butterfly.
Scrooge McDuck

This piece depicts Scrooge McDuck’s backside, with his feet flailing, diving into a pile of gold coins and gems. His top hat sits atop the pile.
Pixar Animation Studios Characters

This egg matches the Disney characters egg but features Pixar characters all over, including Sadness, Woody, Lightning McQueen, Mr. Incredible, Dug, Rex, and more.
“Brother Bear”

Inspired by “Brother Bear,” this egg depicts Kenai and Koda looking up at cave drawings. On the back of the egg are painted images from the film.
“Dumbo”

The Dumbo egg depicts the elephant bathing, with his trunk sticking straight up, spurting fake water into the air. Timothy Q. Mouse is to the side, sitting in Dumbo’s yellow hat and holding his lucky feather.
The Evil Queen – “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”

This intricately sculpted piece depicts The Evil Queen sitting in her throne. On the back is a painted image of the Magic Mirror.


The poison apple hanging above the Evil Queen spins and is illuminated by a green light.
“Atlantis: The Lost Empire”

The final egg depicts the carved stones floating around the blue Heart of Atlantis.

There will also be Easter eggs displayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort beginning on April 1. Easter is on April 20 this year.
