Collage of food and wine: sliced tomatoes with cheese, an orange drink with gummy worms, a Fritos bag with toppings, nachos adorned with jalapeños, and mac and cheese paired perfectly with green beans.

*NEW* Lemon Pepper Wings – $9.00
with Garlic Ranch

Two seasoned chicken wings are served on a cardboard tray with a small container of sauce, held in hand. Against the backdrop of a colorful table, this delightful dish pairs perfectly with your favorite food & wine experience.

While the wings were perfectly juicy and tender, these were very over-seasoned. It was almost like biting into a lemon. We also did not enjoy the garlic ranch sauce.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Sloppy Joe Slider featuring Impossible Beef – $8.00
with Cheese

A gourmet sandwich with shredded meat filling on a toasted bun, subtly paired with herbs, graces a rectangular paper tray—a true Food & Wine delight.

Overall, this was a miss. The seasonings and bun were not good, but this might be a good option for vegetarians looking for a Sloppy Joe alternative.

Rating out of 7: 2

*NEW* Mango Guava Cocktail – $17.00
Vodka, Mango Purée, Guava Nectar, Cucumber Syrup and Lemon Juice, garnished with a Rainbow Sour Belt Gummy

A hand holds a bright yellow cup filled with an orange beverage, topped with colorful candy strips, offering a delightful fusion of flavors. The backdrop showcases lush green foliage, creating a perfect setting for this gourmet experience.

While we enjoyed the similar non-alcoholic version of this drink, this one did not stack up. The vodka gave an almost metallic taste that we hated. This was not worth the money and completely unenjoyable.

Rating out of 7: 0

*NEW* California Punch – $8.00
Mango Purée, Guava Nectar, Cucumber Syrup and Lemon Juice, garnished with a Mango Chile Lollipop

A hand holding a plastic cup filled with orange liquid and ice, set against a backdrop of lush greenery, entices the senses with the promise of refreshment. This delightful scene could easily find its place in any Food & Wine magazine feature.

For a non-alcoholic option, this was not a super sticky and sugary drink. If you are a fan of juice based mocktails, this is a great option. The Mango Chile Lollipop was also a nice addition, adding a spicy Tajín flavor that complimented the drink well.

*NEW* Asa’DOS – $9.75
Grilled Skirt Steak and Chipotle Chicken with Spanish Rice and Salsa Verde

A disposable plate, perfect for a casual Food & Wine pairing, contains grilled steak, rice, a grilled onion, a chicken drumstick, a slice of quesadilla, and a zesty green sauce, all elegantly arranged on a speckled countertop.

Although the skirt steak was a little difficult to cut, it was flavorful. The corn tortilla was good and the salsa verde had a nice spicy kick. The chicken and the rice were good, as well. It is a solid choice and good deal for the price.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Açai Passion Tea-ki Cocktail – $18.00
Pineapple Rum, Dark Rum, Passion Fruit Syrup, Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.® Açai Black Tea and Lime Juice, garnished with a Skewered Luxardo Cherry and Pineapple Wedge

A plastic cup filled with an amber-colored cocktail from Food & Wine, garnished with a pineapple slice and a cherry, rests elegantly on a speckled surface.

This was a solid drink that was not overly sticky or syrupy. It was smooth and the combination of flavors made for the perfect tiki cocktail.

Garlic Kissed

Food:

  • 🆕Sirloin Gruyére Mac & Cheese – $9.00

Beverages:

  • Guava-Lychee Mule – $17.50
  • Huckleberry-Citrus Cooler – $7.00

*NEW* Sirloin Gruyére Mac & Cheese – $9.00
with Black Garlic Chimichurri and Garlic Butter Crunch

A hand presents a bowl of food topped with succulent steak, vibrant green sauce, and spicy red chili slices. In the background, a colorful table adorned with playful cartoon images awaits, perfectly capturing the joy of food and wine moments.

The flavors of this dish were on point and enjoyable. However, the sirloin was a little chewy and the garlic butter crunch added a strange sandy texture. The mac & cheese itself was hearty and filling. Overall, this was a nice size portion with okay taste.

Rating out of 7: 4

Guava-Lychee Mule – $17.50
Vodka, Guava Nectar, Ginger & Lychee Syrups, Lemon Juice and ACE Guava Hard Cider, garnished with a Lemon Wheel

The guava lychee mule does not taste like your typical mule. We didn’t get a lot of the ginger beer flavor at all, but the guava and the lychee flavors are prominent. They make for a very flavorful fruity combination. If you don’t typically like mules, this may be a good one for you to try because there’s almost no ginger kick to it at all. We really liked it overall, though if you’re expecting more of a traditional mule, you’ll be disappointed.

Rating out of 7: 5

Huckleberry-Citrus Cooler – $7.00
Huckleberry & Agave Syrups, Grapefruit Soda, Lemon & Orange Juices and Gold Peak® Black Tea, garnished with an Orange Wedge

With the multiple syrups listed in the ingredients, we were worried this was going to taste artificially sweet. Instead, we found the drink to be light and fruity, with a bit of tartness.

Golden Dreams

Food:

  • 🆕Musubi Fried Rice brought to you by Disney Vacation Club – $8.50
  • 🆕Cherry Cobbler Pot de Crème – $7.50

Beverages:

  • Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew – $7.25

*NEW* Musubi Fried Rice brought to you by Disney Vacation Club – $8.50
AULANI Resort-inspired Steamed Rice with Egg, Glazed Spiced Ham, Umami Mayo and Furikake

A hand cradles a black bowl of rice adorned with diced sausage, sauce, and seasonings—a delightful pairing for any Food & Wine enthusiast.

This was very good. The spice and glaze were phenomenal, and the musubi and rice were cooked perfectly. Definitely a must try.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Cherry Cobbler Pot de Crème – $7.50
Vanilla Custard, Cherry Filling and Oat Crumble

This was very tart and the oat crumble was chewy and soft. While the cherry filling did not taste artificial, the taste was overpowering. In addition, the vanilla custard did not do anything to sweeten the dish.

Rating out of 7: 3

Blueberry Pancake Cold Brew – $7.25
Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.® Mexico Origin Coffee, Oat Milk, Demerara, Maple & Brown Butter Syrups, topped with Blueberry Sweet Cream, garnished with Cinnamon-flavored Cereal Crumble

Surprisingly, this was great! It needed to be stirred up to get all the flavors, but then it was delicious and refreshing, just like a plate of blueberry pancakes.

Rating out of 7: 6

LA Style

Food:

  • 🆕Western BBQ Burger Bao – $9.50
  • 🆕Mini LA Street Dog – $8.00

Beverages:

  • Cantarito-Style Paloma – $17.25

*NEW* Western BBQ Burger Bao – $9.50
with Sweet Barbecue Sauce, Nueske’s® Applewood Smoked Bacon and Crispy Onions

In our opinion, this dish was overpowered by a tangy, low-quality barbecue sauce. Other than the saltiness, the bacon did not do much flavor-wise, and the bao was a strange texture. The ground beef also tasted cheap and low-quality. We originally gave this a 2 out of 7, but the price knocks it back.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Mini LA Street Dog – $8.00
with Jalapeño Mayo, Pepper & Onion Relish and Nueske’s® Applewood Smoked Bacon

A hand holds a gourmet hot dog crowned with crispy bacon, onions, and mustard in a cardboard tray, set against a classic red and white backdrop that's reminiscent of your favorite food truck or casual wine pairing event.

The first thing we tasted was the jalepeño mayo which had a strong kick that we enjoyed. The Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon was smokey and delicious, and the bun was good, as well. This would be perfect as a full-size hotdog. This is also available at Award Wieners.

Rating out of 7: 6

Cantarito-Style Paloma – $17.25
Reposado Tequila, Lime & Habanero-infused Pineapple Juices, Rock Melon Syrup, Fresca®, garnished with a Pineapple Wheel and Tajín®

This drink was sweet, spicy, and very fruity. It’s light and refreshing compared to other beverages available at the festival, but people may not like how spicy it is. This is one of the less syrupy options at the festival.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Mercado de Antojos

Food:

  • 🆕Birria Mac & Cheese – $9.00
  • 🆕Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake – $7.75

Beverages:

  • Watermelon Cucumber Mojito – $18.00
  • 🆕Raspberry Horchata – $7.50

*NEW* Birria Mac & Cheese – $9.00
with Onion-Cilantro Sauce and Tortilla Crunch

A hand holds a black bowl brimming with macaroni and cheese, artfully topped with green sauce, crumbled chips, and shredded meat—a true masterpiece of food presented against a vibrant backdrop reminiscent of Food & Wine's finest spreads.

In the media preview, we did not enjoy this. However, we loved this served fresh and hot. The flavors were more complex than we thought, and all the additions really took this to the next level. It does have a mild spice, but this is definitely a must-try,

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Café de Olla Tres Leches Cake – $7.75
Café De Olla-infused Tres Leches topped with Piloncillo Chantilly, Cinnamon and a Mickey-shaped Cookie

Another winner from this booth! This was moist, flavorful, and fun. To us, it tasted like a complex tiramisu. The Mickey-shaped cookie was not great, but overall this was a fantastic and shareable dish.

Rating out of 7: 6

Watermelon Cucumber Mojito – $18.00
White Rum, Watermelon Liqueur, Mojito & Cucumber Syrups, Watermelon Purée and Lime Juice, topped with Topo Chico®, garnished with Watermelon and Tajín® Twist

You can rarely go wrong with watermelon and tajín, and that’s true of this drink. It’s refreshing and the flavors are perfect.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Raspberry Horchata – $7.50
Raspberry, Almond & Cinnamon Syrups, Rice Pudding, Milk and Condensed Milk, garnished with Skewered Raspberries

A hand holds a plastic cup brimming with a creamy iced concoction, elegantly garnished with raspberries, against a vibrant table backdrop that could delight any Food & Wine enthusiast.

The raspberry flavor in this was not artificial, but it was the strongest flavor in the drink. However, we really enjoyed this. The taste was almost like an almond- raspberry cookie dunked into milk. Overall, a great addition to this new festival booth.

Rating out of 7: 6

Peppers Cali-Ente

Food:

  • Shrimp Papas Locas – $9.25
  • 🆕Corn Chip Chili Pie featuring Impossible™ Beef – $8.00

Beverages:

  • 🆕Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $18.25

Shrimp Papas Locas – $9.25
Cheddar-Bacon Potatoes with Jalapeño Cheese Sauce and Spicy Shrimp featuring Tajín® Chile Lime Sauce

The shrimp is perfect, the potatoes have just the right texture, and the cheese sauce complements everything well. Don’t skip this.

Rating out of 7: 7

*NEW* Corn Chip Chili Pie featuring Impossible™ Beef – $8.00
Seasoned Impossible™ Beef, Spicy Cheese Sauce, Tomatoes, Sliced Jalapeños and Crema

This was a great take on walking nachos. The spice was excellent and did a good job hiding the fact that this was made with Impossible™ beef.

Rating out of 7: 6

*NEW* Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $18.25
Bourbon, Pickle Juice, Lime Juice, Sweet & Sour, garnished with Tajín® Chile Lime Sauce, Tajín® and a Pickle Spear

A person holds a plastic cup with a yellow beverage, ice, chili rim, and cucumber garnish—a tempting treat for any food & wine enthusiast. People and pavement serve as the lively backdrop to this refreshing scene.

We were split on this one. Some in our group felt that this was refreshing and a perfect blend of flavors, while others thought that the salty pickle juice was overwhelming.

Rating out of 7: 3 or 6 (depending on opinion of pickles)

  • 🆕White Wine Flight – $19.00

Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS® bar pieces – $8.50
Chocolate Mickey-shaped Macaron filled with Caramel Ganache, made with SNICKERS® bar pieces

Like many others at Disneyland Resort, this macaron is rich and sweet. The peanut flavor gives this a strong character reminiscent of a Snickers bar. We enjoyed it, but it’s a heavy treat that could easily be shared between two or three people.

Rating out of 7: 4

*NEW* Green Apple Slush Cocktail – $18.50
Green Apple BeatBox, Blue Curaçao Syrup, Melon Liqueur, Kiwi Purée and Lime Juice, garnished with a Shark Gummy

A glass brimming with a vibrant green frozen drink, accompanied by a white and blue candy, rests invitingly on a speckled tabletop. A delightful treat for any food and wine enthusiast.

As with several items this year, this was very tart. However, the tartness of this drink was enjoyable. It reminded us of a frozen melon soda. Overall, the melon flavor overpowered the green apple, but this is a solid choice for festival-goers to try.

Rating out of 7: 5

*NEW* Cocktail Flight – $20.00
Lychee Melon Cocktail, California Wine Cocktail, Strawberry and Cola Cocktail

Three small cups containing beige, green, and red liquids are placed on a white cardboard holder with numbered slots, labeled 1, 2, and 3—an inviting presentation for any food and wine enthusiast.

The Lychee Melon Cocktail is definitely an acquired taste and not for everyone. The California Wine Cocktail looked and tasted bad. The Strawberry Cola Cocktail has a lot going on but was not our thing. Overall, we would recommend the flight to those wanting to try something new or if the drinks sound interesting to you.

Aunt Cass Café

The exterior of Aunt Cass's Café features a wooden sign adorned with Lunar New Year decorations. Chefs can be seen through the window preparing festive dishes. The building, with its wooden beams and lantern-style light fixture, warmly invites you to celebrate within.

Food:

Beverages:

  • 🆕Placido Pinot Grigio – $13

*NEW* Burrata Toast – $8.49

A hand holds a paper plate topped with a delightful salad, featuring greens, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze—a perfect pairing for any Food & Wine experience. In the background, vibrant outdoor seating with colorful chairs enhances the scene.

Although slightly messy and hard to cut, this was an excellent dish. The toast, onion jam, and balsamic glaze were very good. The arugula and tomatoes were very fresh, and this was a great size for the price.

Rating out of 7: 5

Award Weiners

Food:

  • 🆕Mini LA Street Dog – $7.49

*NEW* Mini LA Street Dog – $7.49
with Jalapeño Mayo, Pepper and Onion Relish, and Nueske’s Applewood Smoked Bacon, and crispy Onions

This is also available at LA Style.

Food:

  • 🆕Smoked Hawaiian Pizza – $9.49 per slice or $47.49 for whole pizza
  • 🆕Pineapple and Coconut Cheesecake – $6.79

*NEW* Smoked Hawaiian Pizza – $9.49 per slice or $47.49 for whole pizza
Spicy Marinara, Smoked Mozzarella, Glazed Ham, and charred Pineapple

A slice of pizza with bacon, green onions, and yellow bell peppers rests invitingly on a paper tray atop a speckled countertop, perfectly pairing with your favorite glass from Food & Wine.

Boardwalk Pizza often reminds us of “just okay” school cafeteria pizza. This dish was no different. Flavor-wise, the sauce, ham, and pineapple are good additions, but the crust and cheese are just fine. Nothing to write home about.

Rating out of 7: 3

*NEW* Pineapple and Coconut Cheesecake – $6.79
Coconut Cheesecake topped with Pineapple Jam, Pineapple Mousse, and a Maraschino Cherry

A delightful small cake with yellow fruit topping and whipped cream, crowned with a cherry awaits you. Elegantly presented in a clear plastic container on a golden tray, this treat is perfect for any food & wine pairing experience.

The flavor profile reminds me of us of DOLE Whip. This has a very tropical vibe. We tasted the pineapple up front before the coconut flavor came through. Overall, the was a very good dish (especially for coconut fans).

Rating out of 7: 6

Cappuccino Cart

People standing in line at a gourmet coffee kiosk with a colorful sign and menu overhead, celebrating the 2025 Lunar New Year with themed flavors and festive decor.

Food:

  • 🆕Coffee Bundt Cake – $7.25

*NEW* Coffee Bundt Cake – $7.25
Coffee Bundt Cake with Chocolate Mousse filling and a Coffee-Flavored Liqueur Glaze

This was very similar to the offering last year. The cake is moist and soft while the glaze is rich and creamy. Overall, we feel that this is a decadent dessert.

Rating out of 7: 7

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream

A brick storefront with arched stained-glass windows marks Clarabelle's Ice Cream at 926 Elysian Arcade. A blue menu board is displayed outside beside a green trash can, inviting visitors to savor sweet delights.

Food:

  • 🆕Strawberry Shortcake – $7.99

*NEW* Strawberry Shortcake – $7.99
Angel Food Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Syrup, Whipped Topping, and Fresh Strawberries

The strawberry shortcake was okay but not what we expect from a festival where many unique dishes are offered. The cake tasted slightly off, and the entire dish was boring.

Rating out of 7: 2

Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill

Restaurant sign reads "Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill" against a cloudy sky, with decorative lanterns and character banners below, inviting food and wine enthusiasts to indulge in its vibrant offerings.

Beverages:

  • Strawberry Horchata – $6.99
  • Strawberry Horchata with Rum – $17.50
  • Horchata with Rum – $17

Strawberry Horchata – $6.99
Sweet Rice beverage with Cinnamon and Strawberry Purée

The horchata is creamy and light and has a more powerful flavor than the strawberry, which is trapped in the milk. However, we found the flavors don’t really mix. It’s just regular horchata with the occasional strawberry chunk in it. Pass on this.

Rating out of 7: 4

Strawberry Horchata with Rum – $17.50
Sweet Rice beverage with Cinnamon, Strawberry Purée, and a shot of Rum

The cocktail version of the drink doesn’t have a very strong rum flavor, but it is subtly present. Overall, if you’re in the mood for a good horchata and want to mix it up a bit, this is for you. We did enjoy this version of the drink more.

Rating out of 7: 5

Horchata with Rum – $17
Sweet Rice beverage with Cinnamon and a shot of Rum

A hand holds a yellow cup brimming with iced milk tea, evoking the perfect harmony of Food & Wine against a rustic wooden floor backdrop.

This is a very well-balanced drink. The rum taste is present but does not overwhelm the cinnamon and sweet rice flavor. In this case, we feel that simple is better compared to the strawberry version of this drink.

Rating out of 7: 6

Corn Dog Castle

Corn Dog Castle food stand, with its striped awning and vibrant signage, now features a green corn dog as the star attraction on the colorful billboard above.

Food:

  • 🆕SoCal Corn Dog – $10.79 or $13.29 combo

*NEW* SoCal Corn Dog – $10.79 or $13.29 combo
rolled in Fries and topped with Tomato and Pickle Relish, American Cheese, and House Dressing

This was not good. The batter tasted off and the hotdog was flavorless. This is a weird dish, but the accompaniments were not bad. Grab a regular corndog, instead.

*NEW* Strawberry Lemonade Donuts – $11

Five pink-glazed donuts with strawberry pieces and drizzle, artfully garnished with green herbs, rest on a plate. Beside them, a small scoop of white ice cream sits invitingly in a cup. Perfect for indulging in your next Food & Wine adventure.

These were presented well and we enjoyed them. The donuts could have been a bit softer, but the strawberry flavor was good and did not taste artificial. While some of the other strawberry desserts at this year’s festival were better, this was not bad at all.

*NEW* Chicken Taquitos Ahogados – $14.99
Served in Salsa Verde with Spanish rice, Avocado Crema, Sour Cream, Pickled Onion, Cotija, and Cilantro

A plate of mexican food featuring two taquitos topped with lettuce, sour cream, and cheese, served with sides of rice and refried beans.

This felt like a full meal and tasted great. The spice, salsa verde, and cheese was great along with everything else in the dish, no notes.

Rating out of 7: 7

Al Pastor Tacos – $13.99
Pineapple-Achiote-Marinated Pork with Avocado Spread and Tomatillo Salsa served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans and topped with Queso Fresco

Plate with three tacos, mexican rice, and refried beans topped with cheese, served with a slice of lime on a yellow dish.

The tortillas are chalky, which is unfortunate as the pork is excellent. The pineapple-achiote marinade has a little kick and the citrus brings out the flavors of the meat. Unfortunately, to have a good taco, you need good tortillas.

Rating out of 7: 3

Esquites Loaded Chips – $9.99
Chile-Lime Chips smothered in Corn Kernels, Cotija Cheese, Chile-Lime Seasoning, and Crema

These looked and smelled good. There was a very heavy lime taste, but it paired well with the spice and cheese. These would be great with a protein addition like shredded pork. Overall, a very good dish.

Rating out of 7: 5

Huarache – $12.99
soy-based Chorizo Beans, seasoned Steak Tips, Lettuce, Cheese, Avocado Crema, and Tomatillo Salsa served with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans and topped with Nopales Pico de Gallo

A plate of mexican food featuring a taco with lettuce and cheese, rice, refried beans, and guacamole on a yellow plate.

We’re not sure how the same park responsible for the perfect masa in the tamal at Grandma’s Recipes Marketplace can mess up the huarache but they’ve done it. Instead of the crispier exterior and soft interior you want, these are dense and tough. The toppings don’t even redeem it because the avocado crema overwhelms everything else. It gets a point for being a hearty plant-based meal at a decent price point, but even so, there are better plant-based options in this park. Hop over to Avengers Campus for the Impossible Spoonful or Victory Falafel instead.

Rating out of 7: 2

*NEW* Pescado Zarandeado – $29.99
Whole Grilled Fish with Corn Tortillas, Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Zesty Slaw, Pickled Vegetables, and a side of Chips and Salsa

This was a huge dish with a ton of food. However, the fish was bone-in and the flavor was very strong. We also did not feel that this type of dish belonged at a counter-service location. Unfortunately, while the presentation was good, we were overall disappointed by the taste.

Rating out of 7: 1

*NEW* Lime Parfait – $7.29
Layers of Graham Cracker Crust, Lime Cream Cheese Mousse, and Lime-Orange Gelée topped with Chantilly

A clear cup from Food & Wine presents a layered dessert with a crumb base, green filling, whipped topping, and a green garnish on a speckled surface.

This parfait was extremely tart. There was too much lime flavor that needed to be cut with something else. The graham cracker crust even seemed to take on the lime flavor. While not awful, this would not be our first choice of desert.

Rating out of 7: 2

Cantarito-Style Paloma – $16
Reposado Tequila, Habanero-infused Pineapple Juice, Rock Melon Syrup, Lime Juice and Fresca, garnished with a Pineapple Wheel and Tajín

This drink was sweet, spicy, and very fruity. It’s light and refreshing compared to other beverages available at the festival, but people may not like how spicy it is. This is one of the less syrupy options at the festival.

*NEW* Lemon Pepper Wings – $8.29
with Garlic Ranch

Two seasoned chicken wings are served on a cardboard tray with a small container of sauce, held in hand. Against the backdrop of a colorful table, this delightful dish pairs perfectly with your favorite food & wine experience.

While the wings were perfectly juicy and tender, these were very over-seasoned. It was almost like biting into a lemon. We also did not enjoy the garlic ranch sauce.

*NEW* Pickle Whiskey Sour Cocktail – $17
Bourbon, Pickle Juice, Lime Juice, and Sweet and Sour garnished with Tajín Mild Hot Sauce rim, Tajín, and a Pickle Spear

  • 🆕Study Break Ube Hard Seltzer – $15

*NEW* Birria Mac & Cheese – $9
with Onion-Cilantro Sauce and Tortilla Crunch

A hand holds a black bowl brimming with macaroni and cheese, artfully topped with green sauce, crumbled chips, and shredded meat—a true masterpiece of food presented against a vibrant backdrop reminiscent of Food & Wine's finest spreads.

In the media preview, we did not enjoy this. However, we loved this served fresh and hot. The flavors were more complex than we thought, and all the additions really took this to the next level. It does have a mild spice, but this is definitely a must-try,

  • 🆕Thai-inspired Burrito – $13.99
  • 🆕Salsa Verde Chicharrón Tacos – $11.99

*NEW* Thai-inspired Burrito – $13.99
Chicken Satay, Pad Thai Noodles, Peanut Sauce, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Chile Crisp

Our first thought was that this tasted like spicy peanut butter. We wish the chicken was a higher quality, but the rest of the dish is flavorful and overall good.

*NEW* Salsa Verde Chicharrón Tacos – $11.99
Pork Belly Chicharrón tossed in Warm Salsa Verde and topped with Salsa Macha and Pickled Onions

A soft taco with roasted vegetables and pickled red onions on a brown paper tray offers an exquisite harmony of flavors, perfect for any food and wine pairing.

The chicharróns were extremely hard, and the salsa verde was non-existent. Although the spice was nice, we cannot recommend this dish.

Food:

  • 🆕Crème Brûlée Churro – $7.25

*NEW* Crème Brûlée Churro – $7.25
Pastry Cream, Strawberry Coulis, and crushed Brûléed Sugar

A hand grips a churro filled with cream and caramel bits, nestled in a paper tray above a crimson sauce—a delightful treat for any food and wine lover.

The icing distribution was uneven, and we would not describe the flavor as exactly crème brûlée. The flavors were more reminiscent of éclair or donut filling, similar to a Boston cream. While it does not fit the listed description, we felt that these a were sweet and delicious option at the festival.

Food:

  • 🆕Teriyaki Turkey Leg – $15
  • Loaded Carnitas Pretzel Bites – $7.75

*NEW* Teriyaki Turkey Leg – $15

This did not look good, but it wasn’t terrible. While hard to cut, the turkey was tender and moist with a slight sweetness from the teriyaki. Lovers of turkey legs will likely enjoy this version.

Loaded Carnitas Pretzel Bites – $7.75
with Cheese Sauce, Salsa Verde, Cilantro, and Onions

The pretzel bites in here are not your typical Disney pretzel, they’re nice and doughy. The meat is a little flavorless and underseasoned, but still juicy and tender. It weighs down the pretzels a bit. The salsa verde, which is served as a separate dipping sauce, has a hard kick. All served together, this dish is not bad, but somewhat disjointed.

Churros at Hollywood Land

Food:

  • 🆕Peach Tea Churro – $7.50

*NEW* Peach Tea Churro – $7.50
Classic Churro rolled in Peach Sugar with Diced Peaches and Peach Tea Sauce

A churro is elegantly topped with cubes of mango and a drizzle of sauce, presented on a paper plate. It's an enticing blend perfect for any food aficionado, offering a delightful mix that's sure to please the palate of even the most discerning Food & Wine enthusiast.

The churro itself was cooked well, but the peach flavors were not overwhelming. The peach tea sauce was lightly flavored, and the cold peach chunks were a nice touch on a warm day. While not the best churro we had, it is definitely a solid choice.

Classic Churro rolled in sugar with Sticky Rice and Mango Pieces

A churro on a paper plate, elegantly topped with yellow frosting and a delicate white glaze, is a delightful indulgence for any food and wine lover.

We were apprehensive about this one, but it was better than we thought it would be. It was slightly more doughy than other churros from the day, but the sweet and tangy flavors were a great combo. We really enjoyed this one.

Willie’s Churros at Buena Vista Street

Food:

  • 🆕Strawberry-Caramel Churro – $7.50

*NEW* Strawberry-Caramel Churro – $7.50
with Whipped Topping, Strawberries, and Caramel

A hand holds a decadent churro crowned with diced strawberries, whipped cream, and caramel sauce in a paper tray, outdoors—a sweet delight worthy of any food and wine festival.

Willie did it again. We typically love everything from Willie’s, and this churro is no different. While it gives breakfast vibes, we would get this again and again. It has a similar taste to a strawberry shortcake, is perfectly cooked, the whipped cream topping is good, and the caramel is not too overpowering. In our opinion, the balance among all ingredients is perfect.
