Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe has reopened at Disneyland Park and we tried all the new menu items. Some former dishes also returned, including the Strawberry Stuffed Croissant.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Review
*NEW* Toffee-Nut Cold Brew – $6.79
with Toffee-Nut Syrup and Vanilla Foam

Overall, this is a solid coffee drink. However, we feel that it falls flat next to the Chimney Sweep Cold Brew, which it replaces. The nut flavoring tastes artificial, but it’s not necessarily awful. It’s a little overly sweet but otherwise really tasty. Perfectly middle of the road. It’s also a seasonal offering, whereas the other new items look to be sticking around.

*NEW* Pineapple Bundt Cake – $6.79
with Brown Sugar Crunch, topped with Pineapple Mousse and finished with a Cherry

This is a really fantastic dish. While it is not really anything special, the flavor is incredible. There are real chunks of pineapple in it, adding to the flavor, and it’s just overall a really solid treat. It’s not the best at Jolly Holiday, but that’s a little unfair, since this is the best place for sweets at the park. It would be a standout dessert on any other menu.

*NEW* Donald Macaron – $8.29
filled with Cherry Buttercream and Vanilla Bean Crème

If you are looked for a cute, character themed treat, this is great. However, the flavor is just fine. Out of the macarons Jolly Holiday has had, this is definitely the weakest one. The cherry flavoring is refreshing, but it’s not very strong, The chocolate is a little overpowering, and overall, it’s just a little too sweet.

*NEW* Jolly Chopped Salad – $10.49
with Mixed Greens, Chopped Deli Meats, Italian Relish, Garbanzos and Olives with Creamy Italian Vinaigrette and a fresh Breadstick

This reminds us of the Luca-themed Italian “Silenzio Bruno!” Sandwich that Jolly Holiday had during Pixar Fest. This is very similar with many of the same ingredients. We gave that dish a 6 out of 7 and we believe this salad version is even better. The components are extremely fresh and even fantastic individually.

Chocolate Mousse Brownie – $6.79
Chocolate Chip Brownie, Dark Chocolate Ganache, White Chocolate Mousse, crunchy Chocolate Pearls and White Chocolate Decoration

This classic treat is returning and it’s always a good choice. Rich, decadent, and adorable, this Mary Poppins-inspired brownie is paired with light, refreshing frosting.

Strawberry-Stuffed Croissant – $8.29
Strawberries, Pastry Cream, Strawberry Coulis and Powdered Sugar

This croissant debuted in 2022 at $4.99, and is now almost double the price. It’s delicious, and the strawberries are fresh. They pair well with the buttery croissant and heavy cream. The price increase is a lot, but we’d still get it. It’s that good.

Overall, we think these are good additions to the menu at the newly reopened Jolly Holiday after being closed for refurbishment since January of this year.
