Rolling shrub planters have been set up outside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction at Magic Kingdom.

Rolling Planters Outside Pirates of the Caribbean

People walk towards the entrance of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, with a clock tower and palm tree in the background under a clear blue sky.

The planters are located to the left of the clock tower, which serves as part of the attraction’s facade.

A corner pathway with reddish pavement is bordered by yellow stucco walls and greenery in planters. A black lantern and ornate black metal sign are mounted on the walls.

The green shrubs have blocked off part of the facade from guests’ view. Still visible over the rolling planters are wooden slats of the terrace-style roof and lighting fixtures.

Two large brown planters on wheels sit on a red concrete surface, positioned against a wall with greenery in the background.

Looking under the boxes, black scrim can be seen lying on the pavement.

There are a few more rolling shrub planters around the corner of the clock tower. Routine maintenance is likely being done in the area, potentially a pavement refresh.

Nearby, on the other side of the attraction, the new Pirates of the Caribbean lounge is being constructed. The lounge is scheduled to open in late 2025. The lounge will “welcome pirates of all ages with a sea-worthy selection of grogs and grubs.”
