As part of “Cool Kid Summer,” select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will feature a new slate of activities and scheduled character appearances.
Summer Fun at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
Characters have been known to appear randomly as “surprise and delight” magic for resort guests, but four hotels will have a set schedule for visits this summer. Guests staying at these resorts will also be able to enjoy other Disney-themed activities.
These activities and character appearances will be available to guests at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Recently, select Disney resorts, including Disney’s Pop Century Resort, have posted character experience schedules in the resort lobby. The schedule displays the days and times that their favorite Disney pals will be visiting the resort.
The character interactions are not set up as traditional meet and greets. The characters will stop to take photos with guests but do not form typical lines and instead wander inside and out to see as many guests as possible.
The scheduled character appearances happening this summer may work in a similar fashion.
