The 7 Best AND 7 Worst Food & Drinks at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival

As invited media, Disney provided WDWNT with a gift card for food and beverages, so some of the following coverage was hosted. As always, WDWNT will still provide our honest thoughts on all below.

The 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is underway and we’ve reviewed all the new menu items. Here are the 7 best and 7 worst items from this year’s festival.

The Worst 7

#7 — Gnocchis Provencal Aux Herbes, Canard Confit, Sauce Romarin (Fleur de Lys)

Pulled Duck Confit, Rosemary Sauce, and Herbs Provencal-Style Gnocchis

A white paper tray filled with sliced meat rests on a stone surface, reminiscent of a savory delight you'd find at the Flower & Garden Festival.

The duck was super gamey and not fresh. The gnocchi were just plain potatoes.

#6 — Takoyaki (Hanami)

Octopus Tako Balls served with Spicy Mayo, Okonomiyaki Sauce, and Crunch Rice Pearls

A hand gracefully presents a tray with four round fried pastries, drizzled elegantly with brown and beige sauces and topped with vibrant sprinkles. Capturing the festive vibes of a Flower & Garden Festival, the scene unfolds against a simple paved background.

This dish was very low quality. They were likely from frozen and then fried and they were not good.

#5 — Primavera Cacio Pepe e Gamberi (Primavera Kitchen)

Penne, Shrimp, Zucchini, Peas, Asparagus, and Creamy Cacio Pepe Sauce

A hand holds a cardboard container with penne pasta, shrimp, and vegetables in a creamy sauce, garnished with herbs—perfectly capturing the essence of the Flower & Garden Festival.

The cheese was disgusting. It was bad parmesan and we hated it. It ruined the whole dish. The shrimp was super fishy.

#4 — Mediterranean Vegetable Wrap (The Land Cart)

Pickled Vegetables, Hummus, Cucumber, Spring Mix, Tomato, Plant-based Chipotle Cream

At the Flower & Garden Festival, a hand holds a plastic container with two veggie wraps bursting with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vibrant vegetables.

This was a prepackaged item which defeats the purpose of a festival offering. We are not sure why it exists. It’s very basic and not much going on. It feels unremarkable compared to the other plant-based festival items.

Rank out of 7: 3

#3 — Lemon-Elderflower Float (Swirled Showcase)

Lemon Sorbet and Central 28 Beer Company Elderflower Pale Ale

A hand holds a cup of soft-serve ice cream with a swirl of vanilla and sauce, set against the vibrant backdrop of green plants and the lively buzz of the Flower & Garden Festival.

The bitter beer hitting the lemon created a very sour and bitter taste. This was very tart.

Rank out of 7: 1

#2 — Coconut Water (Beach Grub)

Amidst the vibrant Flower & Garden Festival, a person holds a clear plastic cup filled with a fizzy, light-colored beverage. Behind them, colorful flowers dance in the breeze as the lively crowd enjoys the festivities.

It was the worst coconut water we’ve ever had. The texture was thick and tasted like old water.

Rank out of 7: 1

#1 — Coconut Water with Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum (Beach Grub)

A hand holds a clear plastic cup filled with a light yellow beverage at the Flower & Garden Festival, against a blurred backdrop of people and lush greenery.

Taking first place on the list of the worst festival items is the coconut water with rum. Our fourth time ever giving a rating of 0 out of 7. It tasted like murky water. Just terrible. Under no circumstance should anyone order this. Just stay away.

The Best 7

#7 — S’mores bar (Beach Grub)

Fudge Brownie, Dark Chocolate, Toasted Meringue, and Smoked Graham Cracker

Although Beach Grub had the worst item at the festival, it also had one of the best. This was basically a brownie turned into a s’mores pop. The toasted meringue was perfect and the smokiness made the dish.

Rank out of 7: 6

#6 — Lemon-Lavender Baumkuchen (Connections Eatery)

with Lavender Anglaise

A dessert on a white plate with a yellow border showcases whipped cream, purple drizzle, and a chocolate piece. The backdrop hints at the Flower & Garden Festival with lush greenery and a blurry figure clad in green and brown.

This was amazing. The crunchy icing was fantastic and the cake was baked perfectly. The hint of lavender was pleasant and the lemon tied it together nicely at the end.

Rank out of 7: 7

#5 — Chicken & Waffles (Honey Bee-stro)

Crispy Chicken and a Sweet Honey-Jalapeño-Bacon Cornbread Waffle with Whipped Honey Butter and Spicy Honey

A piece of fried chicken with butter sits on a waffle, served on a white disposable plate, with green grass in the background.

This was spicy and sweet and the cornbread paired nicely with the flavorful fried chicken.

Rank out of 7: 7

#4 — Chocoflan (Jardin de Fiestas)

Layered Traditional Mexican Flan and Chocolate Cake with Toasted Walnuts

A square piece of chocolate cake, reminiscent of a Flower & Garden Festival delight, is topped with caramel, nuts, and a sprinkle of salt, presented elegantly on a white plate.

This was the best thing the Mexico booth has ever offered. The cake was incredible. The sweet caramel flavor from the flan paired well on top of the moist and rich chocolate cake.

Rank out of 7: 7

#3 — Peaches ‘n’ Cream Funnel Cake (Funnel Cake)

Funnel Cake with Powdered Sugar, Vanilla Ice Cream, Peaches, Whipped Cream, Cobbler Crumble, and Cinnamon-Bourbon Caramel Sauce

At the Flower & Garden Festival, a delightful funnel cake is topped with whipped cream, peaches, and crumbled toppings. It rests on a paper plate held by someone enjoying the vibrant greenery and blossoms surrounding them.

This was the best funnel cake we’ve had. It tastes like a peach cobbler with the sweet and juicy peaches and ice cream topping.

Rank out of 7: 7

#2 — Jamaican Jerk Chicken (La Isla Fresca)

with Pigeon Pea Rice, Roasted Sweet Plantains, and Cinnamon Butter

A white plate showcases a delectable piece of grilled chicken, seasoned rice, and two fried plantains, artfully garnished with a small green leaf—an exquisite dish reminiscent of the vibrant flavors celebrated at the Flower & Garden Festival.

While the dish only includes one drumstick it is still solid for the price. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was smoky and moist.

Rank out of 7: 7

#1 — Provence Poutine (Refreshment Port)

Herbes de Provence Seasoned French Fries, Goat Brie, Lavender Honey, Hazelnut Croquant, and Fresh Lavender

A hand presents a tray of seasoned fries crowned with cheese curds and edible flowers, set against the lush backdrop of a serene body of water—an ideal treat for the delightful Flower & Garden Festival.

First place on the list of best items is the Provence Poutine. The fries were cooked to perfection, plus the mixture of honey and cheese was the exact balance of sweet and salty. This is easily one of the best EPCOT festival poutine dishes we’ve ever tasted.
