Experience the Tiki Culture Connection With Disney at Tiki-a-Go-Go 2025

Tiki-a-Go-Go is an annual event that brings together enthusiasts of Tiki culture, featuring a diverse array of presentations, performances, and immersive experiences.  Scheduled for April 4-6, 2025 at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida, this year’s event will spotlight Disney’s profound influence on Tiki culture.

Disney-Themed Presentations

Among the exciting presentations, attendees can look forward to:

A person in a vintage safari uniform, holding a magnifying glass, stands in front of a chalkboard filled with words. The scene exudes the enchantment of Disney magic, as if secrets from Tiki Culture are about to be unveiled.
  • “Marching Along:  Disney’s Explorers and Adventurers” — Join Stewart Marshall, aka Charles Thatcher & “Right Guard” Ian Janosko (host of Adventureland Day at Magic Kingdom) as they explore Disney’s interconnected stories of adventure. Discover the legacy of the Adventurers Club and how Disney’s fictional Society of Explorers and Adventurers links a wide network of characters and locations across the parks.
  • “Rolly Crump: Tikis, Toads, and Tomorrows” — Take a thrilling journey through the work of one of Imagineering’s greatest designers with How Bowers. Learn about Crump’s contributions to Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Center, and his often-overlooked accomplishments that shaped Disney Parks.
A smiling person in a black shirt stands in front of a green wall, surrounded by the magic of wooden carvings and a barrel that hint at a tiki-inspired scene.
  • “Walt Disney Discovers Tiki” — Join David “Dr. Skipper” Marley for a deep dive into the Tiki gods — both real and imagined — that inspired the creation of the iconic Enchanted Tiki Room at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom.
A person smiling, wearing a dark blazer and shirt, standing in front of lush green foliage that feels almost magical.
  • “Neverlands: Unbuilt Walt Disney World” — Explore the ambitious yet unrealized projects of Disney’s Florida park with How Bowers. Discover lost attractions and resorts through rare concept art and archival films, presented by the Lake Buena Vista Historical Society.
  • “Florida Skipper Stories”— Join Dr. Skipper for an exclusive preview of his upcoming book, featuring behind-the-scenes tales from the legendary Skippers of the Magic Kingdom.

Immersive Disney Experiences

Tiki-a-Go-Go also offers immersive experiences, including:

A person in a cap and vest beams as they hold a cocktail, immersed in the vibrant Tiki Culture of a well-lit bar setting that feels like Disney's Magic come to life.
