A new Universal Orlando Resort bus ad implies that Universal Express will be available when Epic Universe opens on May 22.
Universal Express Pass at Epic Universe Opening
An ad on a Universal Orlando Resort bus displays the Universal Express logo next to imagery of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, implying that Express will be available for that attraction when Epic Universe opens on May 22. Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge is located in Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe.

Next to the Universal Express logo is text that reads “Skip the regular lines at participating rides & attractions. Details on the Universal Orlando Resort app.”

Universal Express allows guests to skip the regular lines at either Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure, and eventually, it seems, at Epic Universe. Guests can choose from two options: Universal Express or Universal Express Unlimited.
Universal Express allows you to skip the regular lines one time per participating ride, while Universal Express Unlimited allows you to skip the lines an unlimited number of times at participating rides. There is also a Volcano Bay Express pass for Universal’s Volcano Bay water park.
This new bus ad installation follows last week’s instance of guests reporting seeing Universal Express After 4 p.m. for Annual Passholders with the 3-Park Premier Pass. The benefit was almost immediately removed from the Universal Orlando Resort website, and has not been added back since.
Despite this new bus ad, and last week’s website update, Universal has yet to state officially that Universal Express will be available at opening for the new park.
