Will Ant-Man Return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

In a recent interview, actor Paul Rudd discussed the possibility of Ant-Man’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Filming for “Avengers: Doomsday” is set to begin in London in the coming weeks ahead of a May 1, 2026 release date. When asked about the film and any future Marvel projects, Rudd answered, “As far as the Russos, they have my number. They know where I’m at, and that’s all I can say. I don’t really know how to play these things.”

While this does not confirm or deny Ant-Man’s return to any Marvel films, it sounds like Rudd is ready and willing to answer a call from the Russo Brothers.

Joe and Anthony Russo are set to direct “Avengers: Doomsday” and the follow-up film “Avengers: Secret Wars,” which is set to release in May 2027. However, the duo is no stranger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having previously directed “Captain America: Civil War” (2016), “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019).

The pair have been fairly tight-lipped about the upcoming films, stating that most of the filming locations are in secluded areas to avoid paparazzi and onlookers. Hoping to shut down any rumors, including those surrounding casting for the films, they have elected to use soundstages for much of the filming.
