Tony Gilroy, creator of “Andor,” claims Disney has a “Star Wars” horror project in the works.
‘Star Wars’ Horror Project

According to Business Insider, Gilroy spoke with them during the “Andor” season two red carpet event in London. When he was asked what he would do with a “Star Wars” horror project, he replied that Lucasfilm and Disney have one in development. Gilroy stated, “They’re doing that. I think they’re doing that. I think that’s in the works, yeah.”
Gilroy went on to clarify, “I’m agnostic about what should be done. I was riffling on the thing where I said ‘Oh, do a three-camera comedy,’ so I was riffling. Sometimes riffling doesn’t work with the ‘Star Wars’ community.”
When speaking about the series “Andor,” Gilroy stated, “The right creator, and the right moment, and the right vibe… you can do anything. So, my hope is that the show connects, and then we can pass along the factor that we were given from ‘Mandalorian,’ and we can pass along a good healthy backwind to someone else who wants to do something else cool.”
Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The second and final season of “Andor” premieres on April 22 on Disney+. The final season will contain 12 episodes, each broken down into four chapters that consist of three episodes. Aprill 22 will mark the debut of the first chapter with subsequent chapters debuting each week.
The series “Andor” is a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. In season two of the show, the relationships of characters will grow more intense as war draws near, and Cassian also becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance.
