Disney Parks has announced a special panel taking place at Star Wars Celebration Japan in April 2025.
The panel, entitled “Disney Experiences: Building the Galaxy with Walt Disney Imagineering,” is described as an “intimate discussion.” Details were not announced and it’s unknown if any announcements are anticipated.
Imagineering is likely to discuss Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as well as other experiences at parks around the globe, including Star Tours.
Star Wars Celebration Japan takes place from April 18 – 20, 2025. The Disney Parks panel will be held on Sunday, April 20, at 11:30 a.m. JPT.
Tokyo Disney Resort is preparing for Star Wars Celebration Japan with Season of the Force. Star Tours will finally get the update that came to Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts in 2024, with new sequences featuring locations and characters from “Ahsoka,” “Andor,” and “The Mandalorian.” Between April 8 and June 30, guests will be guaranteed to see some of the new sequences on each ride before they are added to the regular randomized options. Special merchandise will also be available.
Though a date was not given, the BD-X droids will also be coming to Tokyo Disney Resort “later this year.”
