BREAKING: Disney Sequoia Lodge to Undergo Major Refurbishment

Disney Sequoia Lodge is the next hotel at Disneyland Paris to receive a major refurbishment.

According to new announcements from Disney, work on Disney Sequoia Lodge will begin in 2026. The news was teased back in 2023, but no additional details or dates were shared at that time. The now-confirmed refurbishment is set to enhance and elevate the guest experience while preserving the lodge’s wooden decor and warm atmosphere.

From floor to ceiling, the structure will receive a brand-new design that pays homage to the beauty of nature, while its theming will add nods to both classic and recent Disney characters who call the forest home.

Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.

The newly-released concept art includes an image of what appears to be the lodge’s lobby, which has new wood paneling, more modern furniture, and updated windows along both the walls and ceiling.

A family of four enjoys a modern, wood-accented hotel room at the Disney Sequoia Lodge. Two children play on the bed while two adults stand nearby, smiling. Large windows flood the space with natural light, showcasing the result of a major refurbishment.

The second piece of new art shows an updated guest room at Disney Sequoia Lodge. Like the lobby, the room now has light wood tones with more modern headboards. The new headboards seem to still take some inspiration from “Bambi,” with carved images of deer incorporated in the wood paneling.

Disney has said the design will take inspiration from the forests and follow the traditions started by Walt Disney and his team of animators.

Previously at Disneyland Paris, both the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and Disneyland Hotel have been refurbished. Disneyland Paris will also be receiving a seventh hotel to replace the Events Arena, as announced this January.

More details will be announced in the future.
